I debated the rating, but then I thought that the almond croissant is so delicious (like I will crave it later after it's gone!) and the coffee is really good. That's what I'm going for, right? And there really isn't any issues. It's great coffee and pastries in a cute house. I had been to the other location on a previous trip, so I found myself comparing. This one is in an old, charming house. That also means that you funnel to a counter in a small, central room. It can feel a little awkward waiting in that space. They have some cute artsy merchandise to support good causes. Think handmade crafts from poor countries. I wish they had way more of this. I definitely wanted to buy something, but the selection was small. I think they probably don't restock this often. On a Sunday morning, it wasn't busy. I think it was too early for college students after a Saturday night, so mostly a few older couples. I think a bustling student crowd would totally change the vibe and make it even better.

What an adorable coffee house! If you are looking for a beautiful place to get your work done, meet a friend, or just a place to read then this is it. Brevede has plenty of places to plug in or little nooks to sit and enjoy your coffee. The coffee of course was delicious. I had a wonderful iced vanilla cinnamon latte. They also have some pastries to snack on, and a little shop of gifts like tshirts, cards etc.

I've visited the Brevede on Mancester & was eager to see this new location. Invited a friend for coffee & we were both impressed with the use of the home for such a quaint coffee spot. Different from Manchester but still unique. I chose the Honey Rose latte and my friend got a Dirty Chai. She ate the quiche and stated it was tasty just needed some salt. I got the coffee cake & was a little disappointed...it was very dry. Overall, I will come again...nice escape. I do wish they had more in there store to purchase. It was a very small inventory. Both female staff we encountered were super nice & welcoming.

Super neat café (formerly a house) with a beautiful interior. The baristas were kind and made tasty drinks! Also, extra points for having a very clean (and charming) bathroom! :)

Brevede makes my favorite iced mocha in town. The quality of their espresso is top notch and service is always quick and friendly. If you're looking for space to get a little work done there are plenty of seats for the small area but less option if you're looking for a group outing.

Love this location and coffee! You cannot go wrong with any drink here, but I highly recommend the hazelnut latte. Obsessed with it! The baristas are always so friendly and help with recommendations.

Super cute, clean, and calming, yet lively ambiance. The barista was oh so nice and very kind to all customers of all ages. The coffee was excellent! The pricing is quite fair. They did a great job turning this into a beautiful coffee shop! There is lots of seating and a cute shop area with handmade items for a cause. They also had pastries and some house made syrups. This is a great place to work, study, meet a friend, or read a book. Everything about the experience was so lovely! There's parking to the right of the building. What I find very confusing is where you enter- you enter from the back of the building, not the front door. I think the front door makes more sense as this is where the sign is, it's a beautiful entrance, and there's a stone table outside. Plus you would then walk straight to the counter where you order. For probably a good reason this is not the main entrance, but if you're like me, you'll be confused your first visit. Ignore the sign by the back door that says "salt box" you're in the right place. Last note- I tried to go on a Sunday (per their website hours) and they were closed. I didn't see hours posted inside and forgot to ask. I'd trust the yelp hours at the time of writing this review. Totally recommend! This is an excellent coffee shop!

I'm on a new mission to try all of the small business coffee places in Lexington. This morning I stopped at Brevede. I opted for the spring fling latte, which is a combination of rose and lavender with whole milk. I was a little surprised by their milk options given that they only offer whole milk and oat milk. And this was one of the few reasons I gave it four stars. The service was mediocre, and the two people at the front did not seem friendly at all. I don't really know what I was expecting, but normally when I go to get my morning coffee, I love a bright, friendly, smiling face. I also opted to try the quiche. It was spinach and gruyere cheese. While delicious, some of the inside was still cold. This is a problem I find with all of these places that reheat their pastries is that they're never reheated enough. It is a very, very cute Place with tons of seating. And the latte tasted good and the quiche was good, but I'm not sure that I would go back to spend almost $13 on those two items.

I don't know what this charming residential-looking building used to be, but I'm surprised this neighborhood did not previously have a swanky coffee shop like this one. It has a decent amount of parking and plenty of indoor space, including a fireplace. My iced chai overflowed the cup and made a bit of a mess. I liked the flavor, more tea-forward than many such beverages. They had a substantial spread of baked goods, and while I wasn't tempted by some of them, I got a savory spinach croissant, which was quite delicious. It was a pricey snack, but I could see where this is the sort of place you're paying for atmosphere.
