I have been wanting to try Peruvian food at Brasa's for a long time and it is great!! The atmosphere isn't that great but the food is spot on!I had the Papa A La Huancaina appetizer and it was delicious and I look forward to getting that again. The sauce is amazing.For my meal I ordered the Classic Lomo Saltado. The beef was tender and the dish was very tasty. It was my first time eating Peruvian food so I don't know what to compare it to but we ate with a couple of friends that just got back from vacation in Peru and they said it was like what they ate there.I highly recommend this if you are looking for something different. We were disappointed about just one thing.... They were completely sold out of all chicken so I didn't get to try that.

Visiting Lexington, KY, looking to have lunch. We found a Peruvian restaurant that served Rotisserie Chicken. Walking in smelled soooo good. We knew we were in for a great meal !!! Allison V, was our server.... she was great. Very friendly, attentive but not overbearing.Two notes....1) we thought the music was too loud.... It was a bit tough to hear each other when talking. (that can be easily fixed). 2) it would be nice for them to have a wine license... to at least serve Sangria!! No alcohol is available. Food was excellent !!! We ordered a full rotisserie chicken with salad & 2 sides to split. Our meal was over the top delicious !! The brine seasoning made the chicken so tender and moist. Included with our meal was a huge salad with tomatoes and cucumbers. Very fresh. We also ordered the tostones, which were thicker than we've had in other places... delicious. The sauces served with our meal were white sauce (a very tasty mayo mix with "something ", a yellow Ali pepper sauce & their jalapeño green sauce. The Ali saucei was mild, and we think the green sauce could have been spicier. All of the sauces complemented the meal quite well. Yes, highly recommended.

Two stars because first visit it was so so. Second visit it was horrible. Waiters forgot us completely multiple times. Brought yuca without any sauces. We waited and waited and finally they came but yuca was cold by then. The chupe de shrimp was not good, aguadito had no flavor at all. Lomo was sad. Causa was wet. So bad. All of it. Waited an hour on hotdogs. Third visit was ok. We ordered an hour ahead and still waited on our food upon arrival. But they were nice and working hard. Yuca was great. Pollo was prepared well. This gives us hope they will do better. But first two visits were so bad I took 3 stars off. The two stars are for the third visit, they were nice. Friends had ceviche and it was not good at all.

It's great that Lexington now has a Peruvian restaurant. The portions are huge and there are many gluten-free options. The roasted corn that they brought out for a starter was a nice touch.

The real Peruvian flavor, I didn't think I would find one of the best Ceviches in the world in Kentucky, Many times we pay in luxurious restaurants and the food is very simple, if you want to feel a bomb of flavors in your mouth visit this place. El verdadero sabor Peruano, no pensé encontrar en Kentucky uno de los mejores Ceviches del mundo. muchas veces pagamos en lujosos restaurantes y la comida es muy simple, si quieres sentir una bomba de sabores en tu boca visita este lugar.

Our family tried this restaurant for the first time last night. Picked up three entrées and an order of empanadas + a several sauces. Everything was great and we live so close that we will become regulars. If I am in the mood for Chinese fried rice, I'm actually going to go here instead and get their version from Peru. A+ Outstanding experience and the kids loved it all too. My wife said she had a purple corn juice while she waited for our order and highly recommends!

Awful service! Made a reservation to celebrate our wedding and they left us waiting over 30 minutes WITH A RESERVATION while passing others through. Then the waitress had an attitude when we asked about our reservation. will never visit again. We left and went to another reataurant that fortunately had space.

This was my first time with Peruvian food and I can say it did not disappoint. To me it is kind of a meld of Mexican, Caribbean, and Puerto Rican food. The sauce on my Pesscador a lo macho ( I think that's right) was amazing and the mussels in the dish were the first ones I have ever enjoyed. My wife had the chicken with pesto and it was better than any Italian version we have had. The plantains were good and the sweet potato fries were the sweetest I've eaten.Service was great and there was plenty of cancha to eat for snacking while waiting. It is corn that tastes like popcorn but is not completely popped. It was delicious. I am looking forward to going back for more!
