When you are hungry but aren't sure quite what you want to eat....sometimes all it takes is someone shouting about pulled pork nachos to make the decision for you!A closer look at the menu tells you that you'll get 2-3 POUNDS of nachos. And they ain't kidding! The chips come topped with a behemoth amount of pulled pork and melted cheese. Then you get to choose your toppings, beginning with barbecue sauce. Your options are sweet or spicy. I went with sweet. I would have preferred the bbq sauce being put on before the cheese so it got on the meat. But you end up mixing it all together anyway to eat it, so it doesn't matter all that much....I also got mine topped with cilantro and red onions. You can also get jalapeños and pickles, which I decided to forego.$8-ish for an obscene amount of tasty nachos!BBQ and nachos. Together in one dish. What more do you want?!

I enjoy visiting outdoor events such as festivals, flea markets and concerts. And when I do I'm always searching out the food trucks. There is one truck I gravitate. The must visit is "Bourbon Bent BBQ" there are on average 8 items, the staples and one or two new. I have always said. Give customers new choices but never stray from what people crave for. Who knows better? "Bourbon Bent BBQ"Every time I visit the beef brisket is the first to sellout and for good reason. It's crazy good! Tender and moist with the right smokiness. Chicken and Pork round out the BBQ choices, all served several ways. Now! The best item I crave when ever I see Bourbon Bent is? Drum role please! The Best Pulled Pork Cheese Nachos ever!Spicy, sweet and savory toppings galore. My favs are scallions with this unique pickled slaw, sour cream and habaneros. Every tasty huge basket feeds two. There is one dilemma. My nacho chips they start thick and crisp yet they wilt from my lack of attention when using a fork also from the abundance of pulled pork cheesiness. It's a small sacrifice but I can live with it. So if your out fleaing at Fresh Start in NULU or at one of the river front festivals try Bourbon Bent BBQ.

The weather in Louisville has finally improved, so I decided to try one of the food trucks near the class I am taking on East Market Street. This was my first time at Bourbon Bent and it was amazing! I tried the brisket, it's injected with nitro milk stout before they smoke it. One of the best briskets I have ever had, hands down! I had my sandwich fully loaded with the spicy BBQ sauce. The spicy sauce is really good, and has a nice lingering heat without drowning out the other flavors. Give it a try!Next time I would probably try the BBQ tacos or the nachos. The man in front of me had the tacos and they looked really good, loaded with meat and toppings. Prices are reasonable, my enormous sandwich was $9, and most menu items were $9 or $10 for massive portions. They do accept cards which is nice. Service was great, very fast and friendly. The truck owner told me that when the weather gets warmer they have an expanded menu that includes cokes etc. If it's cold/bad weather bear in mind the menu will be reduced. If weather is nice there are lots of benches and places to enjoy your food steps away at waterfront park. Plus you get a nice view!If you are near Humana, Slugger Field, Waterfront Park, or NuLu, this is an easy walk and a great experience!

Massive nachos for the cost of $10. Pork was very tender and had a nice smokiness to it. Service was very friendly. Great combination of sweet, tang, and smoke from the sauce, slaw, pulled pork as well as great crunchy texture of the chips themselves. The cheese is the cohesive that brings it all together, like a happy family. Enjoy!

Was able to try this at the last flea off market. The pork nachos are amazing!! Tops with cheese, jalapeños, onions, pulled pork, and pickles! Yes pickles! It isn't super fast and the line goesSlow, but the nachos are so worth the wait! Go with super spicy sauce the spicy isn't so spicy. Also, grab a fork you will need it!!

Best nachos ever!! The meat was smoky and tender and the combination of all the ingredients was a flavor explosion! Loved the slaw and cilantro on top. They added such a unique flavor. I hope to find this truck again. Can't wait to try some other menu items. Guys were very friendly and got my food fast. I asked for a bit of spicy bbq sauce and sweet bbq sauce and they obliged. Love it when customer service is so great. Thanks for a special food experience!

I had the nachos several month back, at the October flea off market. Didn't realize a twist tie was mixed in until it was in my mouth. Which was such a gross and unpleasant feeling. I know they have good food here but I don't think I'd be able to eat it again without thinking of that sharp twist tie jabbing in my mouth.

I'm going have to dissent from the mainstream and say the nachos were a disappointment. I sought this food truck out at the Flea off Market specifically after reading raving reviews of the nachos. A couple of things stand out... 1) price is now $10 2) while the que was good, they used some seriously cheap nacho chips (looked like Kroger brand possibly). This added some off-putting flavor and way too much salt. I would give them another chance but only for the Brisket (and hence the 4 stars) as it looked good. I hate it when businesses ruin their good product (BBQ) with cheap supporting ingredients (in this case the nachos and the goopy nacho cheese sauce (kinda like cheez whiz). Not sure this was worth $10 (lotta chips, pickles, not so much cotija cheese or slaw).

Brisket Chili is really good and would highly recommend to my friends back in Wisconsin. The Mac and Cheese with Beer Cheese is really good as well!
