Boone's Butcher Shop

Went to Boone's Butcher Shop. Found the meats that I was looking for. Service was great. Very quiet atmosphere. Will return.

I love coming here when I'm visiting from Texas. I went today and spent $200 on steaks, roast beef, sausage, seasonings, etc. A short, gray-haired lady helped me, and shewas a total BITCH! I told her I wanted steaks an inch and a half, and she gave me an inch and a quarter. She argued with me and said that's what I ordered, and I said no, I didn't. She said yes, you did, and walked off. Boone's, you should keep the grouchy witch behind the scenes and not around customers!!

Boone's is so great! I live all the way in Etown and try to get over to Boone's every chance I get. I love their selection, I love their sales, and their meat is always good. Whenever I have a special occasion that I can justify it, I'd love to come and request a specific cut of meat here. In addition to meat and deli, they offer all sorts of goodies, treats, and things to make your meats taste better. It's always nice and clean inside, and even though it's a little tight that's never been a problem.My only beef (pun very much intended) with Boone's is that they're closed on Sunday, so I can't go to church and get my butcher shop shopping on the same day. Love Boone's, would highly recommend.

My nephew works in the packaging industry and he has raved about the quality and product line. We recently relocated to Etown and swung by to check it out. The retail store is spotless and full of quality products. The breakfast sausage is the best I have ever eaten. It's a perfect blend of spice, fat, muscle (meat) and has a great mouth feel and bite. I will be a repeat customer!

This is a store for discount on all your raw meats . The meats are served fresh never frozen. If it goes to the freezer it is marked down for quick sale. You may buy a whole side of beef and have it cut to your desired thickness. The only problem is they use to cut their lunch meat as you order it. Now they cut it and store in cool place. I rather have it cut fresh especially the country ham . I now purchase it elsewhere. They have fast and easy checkout. The employees are eager to help you find what you're looking for, if not out they go and cut it for you. The best place to buy meats that beats the high price at the grocery stores.

Great value, large selection of meats and other goods. Got our Thanksgiving Turkey breast on sale for the best price we've seen, less than $3/lb. They had full frozen turkeys also in the $25 range. Thick fresh cut ribeyes and 2 packages of pork steaks plus some rolls of sausage and a specialty bbq sauce came in at under $90. We enjoyed walking the main square area of Bardstown & the beautiful Autumn trees too. Nice day trip!

Decent place to buy meat particularly if it's on sale. Considering Biden's economy prices aren't bad.

We stopped in here for the first time to use a gift card we received during the holidays. Wow, they have a huge selection of meats, frozen foods, deli meats etc. I really loved browsing all the sauces, spices and rubs they had available. They even have local honey! I'd encourage you to check it out!

The service is pathetic, but deli prices are far more in line nowadays. Just plan on waiting to be assisted.

I went there yesterday to find meat I couldn't find here in Louisville for the first time in the store and lost my mind. I couldn't believe the selection of all kinds of meat. The steaks are so thick. thicker than I expected. I was in love with this store and I will make the drive from now on for all my meats.
