Bobe's Pizza Express

Any visit to Washington is only complete if we make at stop at Bobe's. It's my hometown, and of course everyone has a 'hometown favorite' but in the case of Bobe's I'm not sure I know a single person from Washington who doesn't go there when visiting! As usual, we ordered the Farouk (supreme) for our dine-in experience. It was perfect as usual. The restaurant was crowded, but no real wait for a seat or the food. In addition to our pizza, we ordered several 'half baked' pizzas to take home for the deep freeze. This is a tradition, and usually lasts us a few months. If you haven't tried this, just order when you place your dine-in order and tell them you'll want to take howevermany half-baked home with you. They'll have them waiting. Take them home, head them up and you're enjoying Bobe's from wherever you call home now. Since my parents left and we no longer have any family in Washington, we basically make the drive just for the pizza and take-home. If you're in town, it's #1 on your list for great food. Keep in mind they don't open until 4:00PM so time your visits accordingly! Best pizza in Indiana.

Best pizza in town. Great service as well. Beer selection could be better but it's not a show stopper.

This is the second time I've stopped in here. Great pizza both time. Cold Bud Light, too. Friendly wai staff makes this pizza joint the place to eat!

What used to be a go to for steal and chops is now a complete disappoint for mediocre Italian food and pizza. No longer impressed.

Service is fast and food is always good! The staff there is always pleasant! Highly recommend them.

I waited 90 minutes for my food but at that mark still hadn't received it. 30 of that was in their parking lot after I had paid. Decided I was tired of waiting so wanted to get money back. Couldn't that night, had to call the next day. Got cussed out on the phone by Bill Bobe himself, who told me to come and get it. Went to restaurant to get it, asked to the back, got yelled at into my face, pushed up against, fist waved in my face, asked to exit the back door, and then, finally my money back. This man does not deserve anyone's business.

I have had carry out from here maybe 10 times over the last 12 to 15 years and always found it excellent pizza. I went in for the first time yesterday and experienced what I have in most restaurants as of the last year and that is not enough or timely service. In this case it was timely as our waitress apologize to us and stop by our table many times to assure us that our pizza was in progress.

Not good at all. Service is usually friendly, but food is bad. I have stopped there 5 separate times, trying to give them a chance to succeed. All fails. They should stick to just pizza. Their menu is too big for the substandard kitchen help. Had a 18.95 Swiss steak "special " tonight. Horrible. Basically stew meat with brown gravy on it. Two bites Is all I could stomach. Told and showed the waitress. She was nice but did nothing to remedy in he situation. Will not go back. Bobes pizza in Switz City is ok. Bobes "restaurant " in Washington is not.
