Food was amazing. We went here for my birthday and tried the appetizer sampler and my husband did the burger challenge. He completed it in 10:06 minutes and got a t shirt. The wings were absolutely my favorite part.

Hole in wall but with the most amazing salads, wi gs and burgers. Super affordable and and sweet find if you're in Bardstown, KY. I love the small town atmosphere. It reminds me of the Backdoor in Lousiville due to the billiards

This is my favorite dive bar in Bardstown and is worth a visit! They're kitchen rocks and makes fresh hot fried food to perfection. Seriously, their onion rings and mozzarella sticks are excellent.Their daily specials always bring something new to the table, this time being a thick tasty grilled Mahi steak. I've had their lobster bisque a few times and don't underrate it - it's delicious! As for their famous burger challenge, the Fry-Way-to-Hell Burger is huge and covered in jalapeños, grilled onions, and multiple charred meaty patties. If you eat it and a basket of fries in 15 minutes, you win a t-shirt and bar infamy. Good luck There's karaoke, lots of pool tables, and a chill vibe that makes this place cozy. I'll only subtract one star due to the long food wait times, as I've been a few times where it takes ~1 hour to get food. However they work as fast as possible and just have a lot of heads to feed. So if you come here not in a rush and a mindset to enjoy good times with good folks, you should enjoy the Bluegrass Tavern.

The food was good. It was crowded and busy. The draft beer must have been very pricey as we received a very high bill without any detail (yes, our fault for not asking). We will never go back. Totally overcharged for what we got.

This is a hidden gem. It's not much to look at from the outside and could make you a little nervous to go in, but once you're in you see it is just a laid back local spot to get a good meal and drinks. I have a friend that goes there a lot that took me in. The lunch specials are good and my friend has raves about all the food. They have amazing deserts too. It looks like a fun place to hang out playing pool or doing karaoke. There is a nice porch in back where we are our lunch. The prices are good and they have local beer on tap. Next time you are looking for a spot to grab some good food, give this place a try.

We stopped here for a quick lunch before taking a tour of Preservation Distillery based on a recommendation from a tour guide at Willet. Our food was taking a while to come out so we mentioned that we had an appointment to the waitress and the food came out right after that. They were obviously understaffed, as were most of the area businesses. Both the waitress and the person in the kitchen were hustling! The food was really good! I had a burger and my wife had the grilled cheese sandwich. It was well worth the wait. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others! (We did recommend it to a couple we met at Talbot Inn that night) Just give yourself a little extra time and enjoy the laid back vibe of this neat little spot.

A tavern with the atmosphere of the t.v show cheers everybody knows your name. The weekend music selection is one of the best and they offer a wide variety of craft beers!! The food is amazing especially Cajun Tuesday's on the last Tuesday of every month! They also offer 4 pool tables and host a weekly pool tournament!

Walking into this place had the feel of that old salsa commercial where the cowboy is reading where his salsa was made, and he has to mutter, "New York City." And then it's almost as if the record scratches (there is no record) and the music stops (there is no music, just follow along, dummy). And the other cowboy goes, "NEEEUW YORRRCK CITTAY???"It felt like that. We walked in and the lights were brighter than I usually light my house when I'm at home reading a book. Which is never, by the way, but please keep following along and stop interrupting, thanks. There was cigarette smoke everywhere but we only felt it in the air because that's how smoke works. They had no gluten free beers and I was pretty sure I would get kicked in the jimmy if I asked for one. No wine - again, same comment about my jimmy. And lastly, no hard liquor. So, I just watched my friends drink beers and I watched the hockey game on TV.Hockey. It's own New York City moment in and of itself.Do come here though. It's worth the...Sorry. I can't keep going. I am the only person who has even Yelped this place! What is the difference? I may as well be writing in my journal.

Best burger I've had around here. The service was great and so was the patty melt. The hush puppies are to die for. Best seasoned hush puppies I've ever had.
