I had an enjoyable visit to the museum. I love Bluegrass and have been to Bill Monroe's museum. I have been wanting to check this out. They had a cool display on Jerry Garcia. Who knew he was so into bluegrass before the Grateful Dead days. The displays are professionally designed. Well worth checking out. There were people playing near the entrance of the displays. It was cool to hear live bluegrass. They also had Steve Martins banjo. How cool is that!

My husband and I visited the museum this past weekend, July 18 and 19. We had a great time! Lauren Price, the mandolin player from the Price Sisters manages the gift store. So it was a thrill to meet her. There is a cool Kody Norris Show room. On Saturday there is an open jam for all levels of musicians. We attended and they wanted to k. Ow if we were coming back next week!! . But the best thing is that Amy from the gift store got in touch with two of my friends to Le t me know we had left an. iPad and a music stand after the jam. We were headed out of town to go home to Georgia when my friends got in touch. So we went back and got the iPad and stand. It's that kind of good cus service that I appreciate that makes for a good experience! wWe love y'all!!

I attended the Nashville songwriters event and, although the event its self and the song writers presenting had the most fascinating stories, along with presenting this songs, that everyone knows, the sponsor was in the audience, and they were drunk, perhaps sitting very loudly in a big loud group together. During the performances 12 people from the audience left due to the inability to hear the fantastic show. It took everything I had to stay.. I'm hopeful that I might be able to visit again when all the people there to celebrate the performances are in tune with how to behave in the theater.

Wow , what a venue!! This is our 4th time back and we really love this place !!! Tickets are very reasonable and it's a smaller venue so there is not a bad seat . Marty Stuart was the show last night , had seats on the second row and it was just fantastic!!! The seats are very large and comfortable, they also have a small bar as well !!! We normally stay at the Holiday Inn which is with in walking distance!!! Love OWB

What a gem!!! The Bluegrass Museum has a beautiful, clean little concert hall that has an awesome sound!!! Not a bad seat in the house! We enjoyed visiting the gift shop and seeing local Bluegrass souvenirs and a great selection of CD's. The small refreshment area is clean with fresh popcorn and drinks. The staff are all friendly.

Our family's first time traveling to Owensboro and we have to say, THIS PLACE, is a MUST SEE! Such rich history of the roots and branches of America's music that we affectionately call "bluegrass". Plan to spend the day and take it all in!!!

Good little museum giving a history lesson of Bluegrass starting with Bill Monroe. Hour long film was interesting. Some artifacts. About an hour plus the movie time.
