This past weekend I ventured down to the blueberry hill estate to photograph a spring wedding. One word WOW!!The views and grounds were stunning. The main house was in tip top shape. Thankfully the decor was subtle and not over the top.Although this wedding needed a tent due to indianas despicable weather confusion, the outdoor reception was breath taking. I'd highly recommend this place for an elegant outdoor wedding. The staff also were very attentive to the wedding couple and beyond kind and helpful to the wedding vendors.I only wish it was so far away from Indianapolis as this would be out of control busy!

I went here I on a living social deal with two girlfriends. We purchased the VIP cabana pool package with wine tastings. The grounds itself were beautiful. Very secluded and peaceful. They have a large diving pool with areas to sunbathe with cabanas, a mineral jacuzzi bath and offer a mud clay treatment. The mudding was fun, but a bit messy to clean off later. (Or upgrade and go to the day spa for a massage) Don't wear a nice suit that you don't want to get dirty. And there is only one shower outside by the pool to rinse off with. You can also go on a hike to tour the property and enjoy a round of disc golf. At the top of a hill they have a nice lookout point and plenty of seating to enjoy a book or sit by the fire. There is also a small cabin available to rent that sleeps eight, or you can rent out the camping area. The wine tasting was a bit disappointing. I didn't care much for the wine and they didn't educate you a whole lot on the wine itself. They didn't sample white to dark either.Overall it was a good experience. It's most enjoyable when you have good weather so you can enjoy the pool area. The staff is very friendly as well, and are very accommodating.

What a pleasant, relaxing environment. I was looking for relief from the city bustle, as well as searching for someplace appropriate for my new wife and I to spend a few days relaxing after a really stressful week. Stumbling around on the internet I found Blueberry Hill Estates which turned out to be almost exactly what I was searching for. The owner, Tom, was friendly, accommodating and genuine in his love for his property and sharing it with us. We relaxed in a wonderful room that overlooked the rolling hills of Southern Indiana, had a couples massage and enjoyed the wonderful hospitality and breakfast that Shelly (truly the master of hospitality) provided. In my mind, this is an ideal bed and breakfast in a fantastic part of the country. My wife and I feel that it will be a place we will visit again soon.

We went to blueberry hill for a girls day last spring. The views at this place were amazing but overall out experience was poor. The staff really didn't care that that we were there and nothing worked. The pool, hot tub and and the mud baths were all not working. So when we found a quiet place to sit and have our wine tasting they decided to edge and cut the lawn around us! I hope they have improved in the last few months. If you choose to go be sure to ask what amenities will actually be available to you!

My husband and I purchased a Living Social voucher for this place. It included: nine course wine and food pairings, two 50-minute relaxation massages, two picnic lunches, and one bottle of house wine. $249 ($602 value)When we first arrived, we were a bit confused as to where to park and where to check in. There were no signs that were indicative of these things, we walked around the entire building & didnt see anyone. This was quite frustrating. We ended up finding an unlocked door in the pub and we spent 20min. waiting inside the house before we saw anyone. A nice blonde woman, was there and greeted us warmly. She showed us to the "garage" We waited again, for her to get someone to check us in. it was a Monday, and they were typically not open, however they did open for us, so that was very nice of them.We were explained that we could have use of the entire grounds. This included the pool, the clay bathing area, the hilltop, and any room in the house, with the exception of the bedrooms. The owner had walked us around briefly to show us the different areas. And she said the blonde woman would be bringing us around our 9 course wine and food pairing. We also had scheduled 2 50-min couples massages for us both. We first sat inside, in the dining room, where brought us 2 samples of food/wine pairings. Then the masseuse arrived, and kindly informed us, that they were not able to do the couples massage as she was the only one there that day. THIS WAS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. As that was a key reason we purchased this voucher, so we could spend time together on our wedding anniversary. She took me back first. The room was beautiful, and very warm and relaxing. The relaxation massage was the best I have ever had.As I was finished, I expected to find my husband out by the pool, as that was what we had discussed. He was going tell the blonde woman that we would be out there, and she could bring him the pairings out there, and then when I was done, I would finish them. To my complete surprise, he was still sitting in the dining room, and he was not happy. The blonde woman did not come back ONCE in that 50min time. . At this point he was playing music and games on his phone. (you need music in the dining room and the pub).In that 50min while my husband was getting his massage did not see the blonde woman once. I did go out to the pool, and waited there for my husband to get done. (music was also off out here) I was disappointed in that I did not get to use the clay bath, the owner never filled it with clay as promised. Pool was relaxing, there were many leaves in the pool, & the amount of flies and other insects in the pool was a turn off. Husband returned, blonde woman returned with the next pairing. We sat outside for a couple more rounds of this, then the storm rolled thru. My husband did not get to enjoy the pool at all, since we were separated for the hour and a half while we had to receive separate massages. We then headed into the pub. We played some pool, and listened to music that I was playing on my phone. Overall... the wine and food pairings need to be done in one setting. It was quite an annoyance we couldnt relax bc we had to stop and get another taste, and worry about telling her where we were going to be in the house. The massages really upset me, and getting anyones attention when we needed them was difficult or hard to find. We ended up having to take our picnic lunch "to-go" as we spent 4 hrs doing the pairings and "shots of wine". The bread was soggy the next day, and we didn't get to enjoy that. Overall, I think spending $249.00 for this was not worth it based on the exp we had. I would try it again, but I felt like I paid over a hundred $$ too much! The massages was the best part, and that was still a disappointment as we spent 2 hours away from each other on our wedding anniversary, which defeated the purpose. Would come back if they offered me a free night stay, and hopefully would receive better service to change my mind. This place is very beautiful, and has a lot of potential, and I would love to see it do well. The prices seem a bit to high though. I would recommend going in the summer so one could (hopefully) enjoy the pool and clay bathing area.

I purchased a living social voucher for this place for my niece as a wedding present. Their initial reservation was cancelled by owner then booked for only May 3. They could not go then so I gave it to my sister. They went and it was VERY DISAPPOINTING! They were supposed to get a bottle of wine but did not until they asked for it. They had shared facilities and were the only guests. No scones on arrival but the host said they could bake some in 3 hours. A high school after prom was on the grounds from 11pm -2am without any warning. Consequently no sleep. Certainly not a luxury accommodation. My sister said it seemed like they were penny pinching. Not a place I would recommend to anyone. They need to decide what business they are in and it is not guest service

We've had a crazy busy year and it was time to get away from reality and have some quality time together! We spent a day and a night at Blueberry Hill Estate and Spa in Paoli, Ind! It was FABULOUS!! The house and grounds were gorgeous! 200 acres of pure serenity. We had massages, wine tasting, lunch served poolside, a hike up the hilltop for a nap in a hammock, upscale dinner, and a after dinner drink in the basement pub to watch Bengals game! A bit pricey but worth every inch of relaxation! They offer Glamping (glamorous camping lol) for a more inexpensive way to go!
