Blair's Ballroom

Andy and Christy are the go-to for those who want to get into ballroom dancing. I have had multiple lessons with both of them and their approaches are different, and complimentary of each other. I have been primary working on the different aspects of swing, and let me tell you... I never thought I would learn, or be able, to dance like this. It is SO much fun! This is a great hobby for couples to learn together and spend quality time with one another. Also, Andy sets up different nights through-out the month at different establishments where you can go and dance in different environments. This is key to learning how to dance as real world practice is essential. But, sometimes you don't know where to go, may be embarrassed to dance in places you aren't familiar with. At these events, most of dance studio is present and so you always have familiar faces.The studio is spacious with all kinds of fun memories on the walls from dance competitions and trophies, etc. There are many tables for in studio events and studio rentals.I have been attending lessons for well over a year at this point, and I have a pretty decent list of moves I have learned, but there is infinite amounts to learn from here!

My husband and I have been taking lessons since 2011. We love the atmosphere and how relaxed we feel when taking lessons. Andy & Christy are very knowledgeable and patient dance instructors. We started at Blair's Ballroom to learn a dance for our wedding and have been hooked. Since 2011 we have learned rumba, salsa, samba, cha cha, foxtrot, waltz, swing, and hustle.The dancers surrounding this studio are also welcoming and wonderful. Everyone is very positive and supportive. They make you feel like family. We are so thankful to have found this studio years ago.

Daniel and I didn't have a plan for our first dance at our wedding and as the day neared, we decided we didn't want to just do the "prom dance." Our good friends and fellow Yelp Elites, Sean and Sierra are fabulous dancers and they recommended Blair's. Daniel called the week of our wedding and spoke to Andy who was very accommodating to our needs. They got us in right away and for just a few bucks we had our first dance lesson ever. Andy made us feel comfortable and at ease. We wanted to keep it simple and not stress over it and that is exactly what we got. We went back the day before our wedding for a final rehearsal and it was perfect!We look forward to going back to learn much more.

This is my top choice for dance instruction, HANDS DOWN! Andy and Christy bring a wide breadth of dancing experience, and they have created a very comfortable environment to learn and excel. They are the place to go for all dancing styles, especially Argentine Tango. They have even taught dancing for figure-skaters.My wife and I have been taking lessons from Andy and Christy since before we got married, over 6 years ago. We felt welcome from the beginning, after being on the receiving end of a pushy sales pitch from an uptight instructor somewhere else. Andy will go with the flow of whatever your goals are, bold or modest. We will continue to work on and add dances to our rotation at Blair's Ballroom, and I encourage everyone else to also give them a try. Your first Friday night dance is free, and your first two lessons only cost you $10 total!
