Nice large open space that invites company and conversation. Start the time with their awesome iced tea served in a real glass with adequate volume. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ sandwich saying it would stand up to any mom and pop BBQ; I had the grilled garlic shrimp which were huge and had a yummy marinade. I think they were Argentinian Red Rock Shrimp. Last but not least, they had a thorough wine list including a premier oaky Chardonnay. Our waiter was superb. There at the ready but not hovering. He readily engaged in conversation which at our age added to the enjoyment. He has a strong work ethic and a drive to save to build his own home and family in his country of origin. He gave us hope for the future of young adults and we found ourselves asking God to guide his path. What a fantastic dessert to finish our meal!

Hey, it's a small town steakhouse. Food was ok, nothing fabulous. Prices ok. Staff pretty good. Cleanliness ok. Was busy on a Monday night, lots of families. Very family friendly. Nice if you have a kids b-day, staff comes out clapping & chanting. Salmon was a great cut but overcooked. Chicken breast was pretty good. Veggies just ok. Burgers & such looked good from a distance. Fried pickles ok too. All in all a good meal out. Prolly not someplace we'd go 'regularly'; but in fairness gave them 4-star as it's a standard relevant to the location. I think to improve they could cut the menu in half, would streamline cooking & allow more quality vs. quantity focus. Just IMO.

Absolutley terrible customer service and management. I drive 30 minutes to pick up a to go order that they assured me included all of my food only to find they missed multiple items. Once I realized this after making it home and had to call and come back to get this missing food, they offered zero compensation for the issues. I simply asked for a small concession to cover the aggravation and cost of a second trip to which the manager was too ignorant to understand was the appropriate response. This is why restaurants don't make it in small towns. Poorly managed teams.

We ordered take out from here. I got the combo dinner that came with steak and chicken tips, buffalo tenders, and two sides. It was a lot of food, I ended up having enough left for breakfast the next day. It was pretty good, but probably would have been better for dine-in. They did do a pretty good job of packaging everything up to go. I will definitely come back.

I've never had a bad meal at Black Stallion and have been there several times. This is a welcome addition to the town of Columbia, Kentucky!

Sirloin was very tough but ribs were good. Service was slow. We'll give it another shot to see if it's improved

One word - delicious! Ford was amazing. Wait staff dressed well and very courteous. Very big restaurant but also very clean. Nice decor. Overall worth a stop!

I was in town for work. Ate here 2 nights in a row. Great atmosphere. Clean and super cute. Had the Philly cheesesteak one night and club sandwich the other. Portions are large and food was really good. Definitely recommend.

The wait was very short and service was great. Family friendly and food was quick. Maybe a little quick as bread, salad and steak came out at the same time. Food was tasty and ambiance was great. Would definitely come again. Baked potato was great. Ribeye and prime rib are the cuts we chose and willChoose again.

New York strip this time . A little over done and not as well flavored as the rib eye but still great. We are spoiled with the rib eye. Salad bar great as always. Best onion rings ever. They are worth the drive Would have been five star if we had stuck with the rib eye. Last time the server recommended the New York so we tried it.
