Traveling food truck that stopped by in my neighborhood in the fern creek mt Washington part of town during the Covid Pandemic. Had a pretty decent line that they handled relatively easy. The lady working the food truck was very nice and courteous. You had an option of about 5 to 6 burgers to choose from. My oldest daughter and me got the stink and swine burger and my wife got the inferno burger. All the burgers were tasty and fresh and came with a side of fries. Fries were solid as well. The stink and swine was a bacon burger with Gorgonzola cheese. So something a little unique. I always forget whether I like Gorgonzola cheese. Then when I get something with it on it I take one bite and I'm always like "oh yeah I'm not a big fan of this type of cheese". It has a small aftertaste that my tastebuds aren't a huge fan of. Very messy burger. Overall even with me getting a cheese I always forget I'm not a fan of it was still a tasty burger. The inferno burger had fried onions, jalapeños and pepper jack cheese on it. The wife enjoyed it. Stated wasn't as spicy as she thought it would be. But that's isn't a bad thing. She likes to dabble in spicy foods but also enjoys tasting her food. So she was satisfied. All in all was a good little meal. Only complaint I can have is that for $12 the burgers could be a little bit larger. Worth checking out if they come to your neighborhood. Or if you are an HOA go getter contact them to visit your neighborhood and your neighbors can try some tasty burger and fries.

I had been following the Black Rock Grille Food Truck on Instagram for some time. Cheeseburgers are my go to meal at most restaurants and I've been dying to try this food truck out. Today I had the day off and noticed that they were parked near my fiance's office downtown. So my fiance and I met for lunch at the food truck parked on 5th and Market Street. I decided to order the throwback burger. They asked how I would like my burger cooked and had no problems customizing my burger... minus tomato and onion. All burgers come with fries. They accept cash or card for payment. We were given a ticket number to listen for when our food was ready. There was one person's order ahead of ours when we arrived and we maybe waited 5 minutes for our food. We made a stop at the side table for ketchup and then enjoyed our burgers. I loved the flavor of the meat used on my cheeseburger. My fiance and I both really enjoyed the french fries! Overall we were both very pleased with our lunch date. I will continue to stalk Black Rock Grille Food Truck via Instagram and be making another stop in the future. Thank you Black Rock Grille Food Truck for a delicious lunch today!

These burgers were awesome. I wish I would have been more adventurous with my pick. I got the throwback burger which is just a classic cheeseburger. I tried the Cali burger and the stink and swine burger. All three burgers were delicious. I really enjoyed their fries too. They're similar to five guys. My only complaint was that their garlic mayo had no garlic taste at all. I was hoping it would be like an aioli, but it was literally just mayo.

Found them at the Foodie Flea that was part of the Fleur De Flea Vintage Urban Market this past weekend. I had glanced over the list of food trucks that were going to there prior to going and BRG was definitely on my list. I got there around 3 hours after opening time. There was no queue, my burger was ready in minutes. I got the Inferno - with pepper jack, cajun spice, jalapeños, sriracha mayo, tobacco onions, LTO. It came with fries. The bun was barely warm but the burger was spicy goodness. It had just the right amount of kick. I didn't care much for the fries.A couple other people got their orders after me and then, they were sold out! So, beware, they sell out pretty fast. Had I arrived a few minutes later, I would've missed out. And that would've been disappointing as I'd been looking forward to tasting the Inferno for a long time. Do give them a try!

This is definitely one of the best burgers I've ever had! The Stink and Swine comes with gorgonzola, smoked bacon and LTO, served with hand cut fries. The burger was perfectly cooked, and the fries were crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside.I highly recommend this food truck as the source of your late night, out on the town, slightly tipsy, belly satisfier. No bullshit, just down right excellent food!

Excited to be getting some burgers in cold cold cold weather. My boyfriend and I couldn't decide wear to eat and Black Rock Grille has been on our bucket list for a bit. We checked their Instagram page and saw them posted up at Preston & chestnut. We were only 8 minutes and couldn't wait to taste some angus burgers. Once we parked and walked about 5 mins to get to the truck... Bam... there is a line, my heart almost... almost dropped, but there was only 4 people who were actually in line. There was just a a good size group waiting for food. If they are waiting out in the cold, these must be some on point good burgers. The menu is simple and straight to the point but there a couple of things that threw me off. 1. Didn't quite read where fries were included2. Didn't know you could have gotten sauce for free Nevertheless, we got the throwback as is and the Cali as is with sriracha mayo. The burgers are made to order, plus they ask how you like you burgers cooked. Didn't know that either or I would have gotten mine medium well and not well done. My boyfriend got his medium. They take card or cash, you can leave a tip on the card option. It was about a good 10-15 minutes wait. Once our order was up (they give you a ticket number) the food was hot and steamy. Took a couple of pictures and walked back to the car. At this point, I didn't want to wait and dug right in. The burger was cooked well done, however not a lot of cheese on it. I was excepting a bit more than what was melted on there. Standard iceberg lettuce, Roma tomatoes slices and red onions. I definitely would have gotten a sauce had I knew. Still a decent burger, buns we're fluffy and warm, kept the burger together. The fries were hand cut goodness. Crispy but not too crunchy or over cooked. Once again it would have been nice with sauce or ketchup (so don't forget it). My boyfriends Cali burger was better, still barely noticeable cheese but the angus was juicy and flavorful. Definitely will try a burger medium cooked. Overall deliciousGot our burger fix Wait was worth burger The price was definitely goodNeed napkins. Thanks

What a welcome sight in the middle of this Corona virus world. The truck came to our neighborhood and we all socially distanced ourselves. The service was wonderful as always, the food was amazing, and we had an opportunity to support our local business owners at the same time. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

BRG are Best Burgers in Louisville! I've tried numerous places and there is nothing better. My wife and I track the truck down on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to grab a bite. My favorite is the Double Cali with and Fries while my wife gets the Inferno. Everything is fresh with quality ingredients and made to order. You better get there when they open because they run out quickly.

They were downtown for lunch today so I thought I would indulge.I am on a diet though, and all the burgers come *with* fries. I asked if I could just get a burger. They said sure but were still going to charge me the same price. Which was frustrating....just fries from them cost $4-$6...they couldn't give me a dollar off?I got the the Stink and Swine burger, and despite wrapping my head around the fact that I just paid $10 for just a burger...it was delicious. Very tasty. I may be back, I may not be. If I could get a burger a la carte without paying the full price of burger *AND* fancy fries, I definitely would.
