Bill & Betty Bobe's Pizza Express

Delicious pizza. It wasn't ready when I arrived but the service staff was so nice and accommodating and they were clearly busy, but doing it with a smile on.

Everything is good! Pizza, Stromboli, breadsticks, and grill items. Prices are high though. Used to eat here at least once a week until prices kept rising. Moved away a year ago but even before that it was more a couple times a year place.

Driving through a small Indiana town at 8 pm on a Sunday night - Memorial Day Weekend no less - you'd expect to be stuck with fast food. But Bill and Betty's full parking lot promised to be a great later- dinner destination. We weren't disappointed. The garlic bread was tasty and they had my wife's favorite ice: the kind with the pellets about the size of blueberries. We ordered the meat pizza. It was wonderful! The cheese formed a solid layer over the five meats. The sausage was a bit spicy. Chorizo perhaps? And the crust was crispy. An added bonus: Great service from recent college grad Paige, and free homemade cookies on Sunday night's! You'll love Bobe's.

You can't get a bad meal at Bobe's. If you are lucky enough to dine Tues Wed or Thur don't pass up their melt in your mouth steaks. Best steak in the Midwest. We also take their half-baked pizzas back to our home 100 miles away. A little piece of heaven right from our oven.

On a date with my wife last night. I ordered my usual, Chicken Caesar Salad and Portabella Mushrooms. As always it was delicious, but on this night our waitress went above and beyond the call of duty. You can't tell by this picture but those homemade croutons were just removed from the oven. They were taken from the oven in their warm, lightly toasted garlic perfection and lovingly placed on top of a perfect salad. The only thing left was for me to pour the special dressing, which I can only assume is homemade also, all over that salad and enjoy. Which is what I proceeded to do. Once again Bill & Betty along with their staff came through!

This place is worth the drive if you're coming through on Interstate 69, U.S. 50 or U.S. 41. You might want to call, as some nights are steak nights and some are pizza nights. The local folks are friendly, and the service is very good. It is small town Hoosier dining at its best!

Everything we've had from here has always hit the mark. Pizza, steak, fish, chicken, sandwiches. All have been great. Service is always good, especially for how busy they always are.

Great service amazing food we are never disappointed! It's always nice and clean. If you don't have time to go in call ahead then go though the drive though.

This is getting a one star review due to all the issues we had tonight. Ordered takeout. They didn't ring up our whole order, so now my kids are waiting on their pizza and have to make another trip to pick it up. The side salad is a disgrace, wilted lettuce and three shreds of cheese. I am not even kidding there was 3 small shreds of cheese on the salad. How does this even leave the kitchen? The hot ham and cheese was burnt, only had maybe two thin slices of ham and a slight spread of nacho cheese. Eating this sandwich would have not been possible if I didn't have nacho cheese (at an extra charge) to dip it into. There is some positive here. The chicken livers were pretty good and a good portion. I'm not sure who they had cooking tonight, but if I owned this place and seen what was coming out of the kitchen I would fire them immediately. This may have been a fluke, as past 5 or 6 times Bobes has been amazing. We stopped going there for about 3 years because of the quality and taste of food. If this experience is any indication of future visits, I'll be happy to go to Jimbos for my pizza needs.

bobes got my order wrong and did not offer a refund when I returned the order. 5/6/2023
