We love Big Nita's. I'd say we might be regulars now lol But seriously, I can't say enough how great the experience is overall. Especially supporting a local Woman owned business. Oh, our new favorite is the cheesecake filled cookies' 10/10 as always!! Just check for their weekly hours & menu. Then you'll be good to go.

We ordered 2 pieces of cheesecake to take home. Actually it's carry out only and it's street parking nearby. Oh, there is a pay lot on the corner but avoid paying as you can usually find a spot for free. Now back to the cheesecake. We got a piece of Reese's chocolate and an a piece of Oreo cheesecake. The Reese's was the best. The Oreo wasn't bad but we didn't particularly care for the pound cake on the bottom and my wife felt there should be more Oreos. We will be back to sample some of the other flavors in the future. It's a local business plus it's less expensive than Cheesecake Factory.

This place typically has a line and is super popular. My favorite dessert is cheesecake, so naturally I had to try this place! Items are limited, so it's best to come early if you're interested in a particular flavor. I don't agree with most folks - this place is overrated and overpriced IMO. I tried a few cookies and a few cheesecakes on multiple occasions. None of them blew me away - they were either too rich and overwhelming, or severely underwhelming. I'd like to see a more balanced flavor, but either way the price is too steep.

Big Nita bring the sweet satisfying taste. In fact one customer shared that it was worth shooting her diabetes high. You will park on the street. Recommend to come early because we came late in the day and only seven items were left. Will definitely be back.In the future I will pay with cash to avoid paying a hefty tip on takeout. Everything is takeout so that was a surprise.

My son purchased a cheesecake sampler from Big Nita's for our grandsons birthday. I'm just reviewing the actual product not the whole experience. Because it was a sampler consisting of many different flavors I was able to taste more than one. Banana pudding, Wedding Cake, Brookie and a lemon blueberry. There were a few other flavors but I didn't taste them. Each slice was large enough to slice in half or even thirds. The taste and consistency of each one was spectacular. The appearance of each slice made them pleasing to the eye, so much so it was hard to choose. Each looked enticing. I looked up the facebook page and saw there were a bunch of flavors and a lot served by the slice. I'd order from them and thanks to my son for introducing these delicious treats!

Once upon a time, long before the first brick and mortar location existed Big Nita's Cheesecake pop up food truck and shared location with another building on Baxter Ave. Nicole Burkes (owner) created a Facebook group page for her business for everyone to follow her business adventures. I never pre ordered before she opened her own location and she always sold out. Keep in mind she does not just do Cheesecakes. She does Cheesecake stuffed Cookies, Cheesecake stuffed cupcakes and much more which in my opinion makes her a genius and I also give credit to her loving and supportive fiancé Roberto for being by her side through everything. Big Nita's is located in the former Hi-Five Donuts (which is opening in a new location soon) building in Butchertown. It is painted Grey now and the Yellow is completely gone. I knew this grand opening on a not so cold not so warm January day would be a big hit and I was right. I had parked across the street which was one hour parking in hopes I'd be out in an hour, jumping forward I was in line for an hour and a half and my car did not get towed, many others parked there too. The wait was worth it, more on that shortly. The line was pretty long and I talked to some women in front of me while waiting and we did worry she'd sell out before we made it to the front. Once making it to the register, there was Nicole (owner) and another employee taking orders. They may have been doing it one at a time. My order was taken by Ms. Nicole Burkes herself, I could tell she had been through the ringer but, kept it together with a smile on her face. I ordered a particular special which was buy 4 cookies get 1 for $1. I got Chocolate chip, double chocolate chip, sugar cookie and snickerdoodle. My $1 cookie was Chocolate chip of course. I also ordered a double pack of red velvet and orange dreamcicle cupcakes, pack of Oreo and mocha cheesecake minis and the peanut butter brownie batter swirled cheesecake. It cost $41 ($47 with tip) it was worth every penny. I was given the handwritten order and was instructed to go around the counter and give to the other employees and they would get my order. She thanked me for coming in and told me to have a wonderful day, I told her to do the same and that I look forward to coming back. The interior is mostly grey but didn't take many pictures because of the crowd, there is no dine in of course. Once I handed my order to one of the employees, they pulled out the assortment that I ordered and I was on my way. She does have set hours and they are on her Facebook group page for those of you that have Facebook. My pics don't do justice and you can check out her wonderful creations. Nicole and Roberto, you will do great in this store and I have told so many about this place. You will do great here and I can't wait to be back. Nicole you are a genius for this concept.

I had some time before an appointment and saw this new (well, new to me) storefront. The building is very stark and utilitarian on the inside, just a few refrigerated cases and a packing counter. I came late and the cases were almost empty. But I did manage to score a slice of Key Lime and Cookie Butter Oreo. I also grabbed a chocolate chip cookie. The Oreo was OK, it was very dense and sweet. The Key Lime was the best, it was so crisp and refreshing with the perfect amount of lime. But the star of the show was the little, unremarkable cookie I got last minute to have as my afternoon snack - BOYYYYYYY.This thing has a MF cheesecake filling! And WOW was it FANTASTIC. I need to stay away from this part of Main Street because the next time I am there I am buying all the cookies and then letting myself blow up to be 1000 pounds. I dont even care, they are that good.

Wasn't terrible but I didn't get the hype? It smelled so bad outside and that could have added to it as well but all in all really nice staff.
