When you walk in you see all the pictures on the wall as you're walking through the restaurant to get to your table the Ambiance is simple it's wonderful it's decorative now to the food the food was wonderful we have ordered several different things off the menu over the years and they've all been wonderful the waitress that we have tonight is taking very good care of us every waitress we've had have been wonderful they have changed owners over the years but the owners have kept it as it is meant to be thank you all

Great food and friendly service! A varied menu with something for all. Locals love it, people from surrounding areas drive for miles to eat here too.

Highly Recommend!! We're from Illinois but stumbled on this place on a road trip. When they home-cooking they mean it!! Fried green tomatoes, chicken bacon wrap and open faced roast beef sandwich - made with fork tender roast beef! Everything was delicious and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

Staff is super friendly and the interior is clean. Sat at a locals table, which had their order on it - so cute.Chicken bacon ranch wrap was delicious! The broccoli was well seasoned, as were the brussel sprouts, although a bit salty. The sweet potato fries are a home run!! And the potatoes are beautifully textured made of real potatoes. I in no way liked the buttermilk pie. I can't understand why this sugar bowl would be enjoyable, but the waitress said it was her favourite so people do like it. Not for me. The butterscotch pie was very yummy, however! I even enjoyed the meringue, which I have never liked from anywhere before. It was kinda squishy instead of being hard and hallow. That pleased me! Would come here again! Everyone was pleased with their food. And they have a good variety. Average meal cost seems to be $12.

Great food & reasonably priced. It's located in my daughter's town - went when we visited them. Not a lot of places to choose from there, but this place was pretty good!

First visit today while on a springtime drive. Terrific choice for lunch in a historic setting. We had a fried catfish sandwich (excellent) and a Reuben sandwich (maybe the best on the planet) and house-made chips. The service was fast & pleasant. With lots of interesting menu choices, we'll be back!

So good! The service was great, the food was delicious & it was so affordable for our entire family! Not to mention, just really love a small town restaurant!

I have complained about their lack of ability to make toast. What you receive is warm buttered bread, send it back and again received warm buttered bread. Toast should be stiff and crunchy, not limp and wet. The silverware is dirty, with soapy Watermarks on them. They will no longer give you a spoon with your coffee. The coffee is watered weak, watered down and not hot. . Food is delivered warm, not hot. The waitresses are nice, but they can only do so much. I am not the first one to complain about the toast on here, with complaints posted over a year ago.The new owners have spent money on new tables, flooring, etc. , but are overcharging for sub-par food. In my opinion the flooring etc. Took away some of the charm of the old restaurant, and the food has gone down hill. I can no longer recommend this restaurant and feel good about it.Read less

My server was nice and refilled drinks fastThe food was ok I'd say 6/10A little bland not much flavor The smothered chicken tasted rubbery.The Mac/cheese & mash potatoes were cold. The food tasted pre-med a day prior and was warmed up in the microwave. The plates came out hot yet food was cold, Strawberry Margarita tasted all of the mix and no alcohol. The fried green tomatoes and catfish were the only good things I'd recommend. This was a 1 and done wouldn't try again,
