Ben’s Bargin Center

This is my absolute favorite place to shop! It's always a fun treasure hunt, and it feels really good to get 40%+ off my purchase. There is always something amazing here for everyone. My favorite thing to find here is food! Filling the pantry with my favorite staples at a discount is great. We've purchased electronic related items from 30-50% off.Since having a child we haven't had to pay full price for any of his essentials. Thursday is when they announce what they received in shipment on Facebook. They also have a $25 giveaway every week (I've actually won once, so it's legit).

As many times as I been here, I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place. Bens Bargain Center sits on Dixie Highway next to Planet Fitness. This used to house the Peddlers Mall and other places. So the building is very old but the layout was nice and organized in my opinion. This store basically sells what other stores could not. They price everything regularly priced but you get an additional 40% at the register. They have just about everything, home appliances, clothing (Walmart clothing mostly), food, pet food, beauty products, you name it they most likely have it. I'm always on the look for a good bargain and I almost never leave empty handed. My recent visit, I snagged some Starbucks cups cheap. Just make sure you inspect your items carefully because some have damage and all sales are final. They have security here as well so shoplifters be aware. I definitely plan on coming back here again and again. This is the only Louisville location (so far) there is another one in Jeffersonville. I have not been there. You may or may not find great things depends on what you're looking for.

It's a blessing and curse that we don't have a Ben's Bargains super close to us, because we would be broke. Seriously, this place is like walking into Walmart and buying most things you need at 40% discount. That's the great part, everything in the store is at least 40% off. Obviously they won't have everything that you may pick up at Walmart but there is a lot.Some of the products have box damage, but typically the stuff that comes in it, the important part, has been in mint condition for us. Tons and tons of DVD and Blu-ray's. Some of the toys are absurdly priced, I don't know if it's a mistake or just lack of knowledge, but a Hot Wheels monster truck should not be priced at $18. Even with 40% discount you are looking at $12 or so for a $4.99 toy. This isn't the only example. So let it be known that even though everything is 40% off retail, check the actual retail price online to see if it's worth it.

This is a new store in Valley Station. It's located in the same strip as Planet Fitness and Tractor Supply. This store buys overstock and discontinued products from larger vendors. They sell them at a 40% or greater discount. This place is packed on the weekends, so if you really want to stroll through the aisles and racks come during the week. They sell name brand items from clothes, shoes, toys, household products, food and more! They do have a small fitting room near front door. These are final sale items so you need to try things on.

Definitely a place to stop and check out if you are in the area. Prices are similar to T J Maxx or Marshall's and they have some interesting items. It is fun to shop and look around. they have dressing rooms to try on clothes at the front left of the store. This is the side all the clothing racks are on so that makes it convenient. They have shoes, some home goods, and a few grocery isles. I wouldn't make a special trip out there but I will definitely stop in again when I am out that way.
