What a great find! Our friend took us here when we were visiting. I don't think we would have even found this place without him showing us. It's a cute lil restaurant and convenience store. We ordered a few items and everything was delicious. It took some time for the food, but that was fine because it was worth it. The portion size was pretty big so bring your appetite. There was only one person prepping the food from what we could tell. The staff were all friendly. If I'm back in the area I'd definitely go here again.

I don't often write Yelp reviews, but I felt compelled to after the amazing meal I just had at Behar Cafe! I ordered the Gulas ($16) and Kid's Cevapi ($10), along with a blood orange soda ($3). Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and home-cooked, and the husband and wife who run the place are wonderful. If I lived in the area, this would be a spot that I regularly visited. I can't recommend this place enough!

Authentic Bosnian Fare. Excellent service. Clean. Massive portions you can box up and take home for later. I'll be returning just to try different things on the menu.

10/10 experience. The service was wonderful and the food quality was outstanding. The flavor was there and the temperature was perfect. They have a wide variety of Balkan goodies to choose from in the grocery section as well. Totally recommend! I suggest you try the Burek. It's a phyllo dough swirled sort of in the shape of a cinnamon roll, filled with ground beef and onions and seasoned.

It's absolutely wild to me that a full-on Bosnian restaurant can be found in little old Bowling Green. This place is super authentic, complete with guys wearing leather jackets and sunglasses, sipping tiny coffees, who watch you suspiciously as you order in English. Everything I have had here has been delicious, but my favorite thing is the meat platter. Which brings up a good point, do Bosnians not eat vegetables? Everything on the menu is pretty much meat or bread.Attached to the restaurant is a nice market full of uniquely Bosnian things as well as more general eastern European goods.

We came across this place accidentally. It is very authentic and simple but the food is amazing. I took mixed meat plate and it had 6types of meat and all delicious. Our kids are pretty picky but they ate it all. Highly recommend.

This place is awesome. The people are nice. My father in law sits here for coffee a couple of days a week. The food is great, and my husband and I come here every time we come to bowling green.

The food was fine but NO ONE was wearing a mask that worked there, nor did any new patrons that came in were either. We ate quickly and left as soon as possible. Probably should not have stayed to begin with. Clearly the restaurant is not taking the pandemic seriously. I would not go back again because of the health hazard.

Best cappuccino in town and a wonderful selection of HOMEMADE Bosian entrees. Portions are very generous. This is a Mom and Pop type of restaurant and a way to support a local business.

Driving trough on vacation and saw this place. Wanted to try something different and glad we did. Nice place. Up front has the restaurant seating and small grocery in the back. Server was very helpful and friendly. Food was all great. Had the sausage and the burger. I recommend this place. Big portions with a decent price. Call first to make sure they are open. Family owned and operated so they were going to be closed the following week to take a vacation. Also has clean bathrooms. No changing table though.
