Bearno's Little Sicily

Nice little place near my house. Been a long time since I had their pizza. Now I know why. It is fair to poor. Nothing special or memorable. Crust is so-so. Sauce is good. They put a generous portion of cheese and sausage on the pizza. They do not have a big selection of non-traditional pizzas (pesto based, Alfredo,...). My wife likes those. I like the quiet and comfortable restaurant. I would come back if I just was too lazy to go anywhere else. But...probably not. On to our next Louisville pizza review.

I hadn't been to Bearnos in 20+ years it tasted so-so not what I remembered. This one was very disappointing. All 3 of us got sick after eating here. Had a pizza and cheese bread so nothing out of the ordinary. I am guessing they left something out too long. Hopefully this isn't a regular thing.

The pizza was amazing, I loved the thin crust. The service was good my water glass didn't get below 3/4th before being refilled. And great atmosphere all around.

Ordered a $31 pizza online at 12:15pm -- for pickup at 4:00. I arrived at 4:00 -- and the pizza is just going in the oven!!! Why order online if you're gonna pull this crap!?!?!? This place gets a hundred stars for service, they delivered outside of their area in order to make a home bound guy's night when they found out that the delivery address was The Apple Patch, which provides services for adults with autism and other disabilities.The delivery driver took the order over the phone and was so nice and personable, he wouldn't really accept my thanks he said it was a slow night and he was very happy to make someone happy. Heartwarming!

Great place food is always on point. It's all good. I wish I lived closer. Good beer on Yahoo too.

Update..Decided to try this location again on the 1/18/25. Once again, pizza was from good. They did not even cut the pizza all the way. It is like their oven is no where near as good as the other locations. Zero crisp, less toppings, and the cheese even tastes off. This location should not even be able to call itself Bearnos! Stick to hurstbourn or westport!

The address was 13829 English Villa Dr. 40245.I had a Cheese and Ham Pizza on a cauliflower crust. It was very good. It was served good and hot. It's hard to find a pizza restaurant that makes cauliflower crust pizzas that doesn't taste like cardboard. I shared a piece with one of my neighbors and she really liked it too and was going to try the cauliflower pizza. It was delivered with steam rolling out. It was a big serving!!Our receipt didn't have our server's name, just Cashier 98. She was precious. I didn't see anyone send anything back or complain about their order. We all told her she did a great job. She even asked if anyone needed a drink to take with them.There was another small group there but there was still enough room for all of us. We had plenty of room to enjoy ourselves and we were all able to talk and hear each other. We'll go back again. This use to be our favorite pizza place a couple years ago! They had a fantastic, super friendly server who made our visit so fun! We had the same server this evening but with a totally different attitude..we were so sadly disappointed! Was told that you can no longer make any substitutions at all to the Mama Bearnos pizza ..if you do there are up charges! We left and went to Gander and had super friendly servers with great attitudes and no up charges for our special requests!! Will never go back to Bearnos again

I placed my order through Yelp with a pickup time two hours out. When I picked my pizza up a little early it was already cold. The ticket showed a prep time one hour and forty minutes before my pick up time. I enjoy Bearno's but it's a lot of money for cold pizza
