Bandido Taqueria Mexicana

We get banditos all of the time. It's one of our go-to Mexican spots in the city. It's fast, and they food is absolutely amazing especially the queso! My husband is very picky about chips and queso, and he can't stop ranting and raving about Bandito's queso. We've dined in and gotten delivery, and the food quality stays the same which is a rarity! A true gem!

This spot is sooooo good. We ate there 3 different times during a 4 or 5 day trip? I could not get enough of the steak burrito with mods made perfectly to my liking. It was packed with all the things I love and none of the things I don't. The staff was really lovely every time we visited and the restaurant, while always empty somehow, was clean and inviting. I love the Latin music playing, brought me right back to Miami. I really with they had this place in GA because it is outstanding. Definitely give them a try if you haven't!

Was craving a burrito and my husband suggested we order from Bandido since it's very close to our house. We ordered the surf and turf burrito to split and it was really good. I remembered trying this restaurant a couple years back but am much more impressed with this more recent experience. Our order was to go but service was quick and we got text updates as to when our order was ready. Will order from here again!

This place is AMAZING Ok we were both surprised when that HUGE burrito came out, so warning lol before u order it make sure u can finish it alone lol Service was great, ambiance was great love the decor as well. Kinda small inside but it's a great spot for tacos or taco Tuesday.

Steak Fries. Add queso. Covered in aguacate and salsa. Been a staple for years. Never disappoints.

Outside the University of Louisville campus, but nearby, this is good for the students to get a meal. They have the biggest burrito I have ever seen! It was the size of my forearm all the way down to my hand-I am not kidding! It was around 12.00 (but that is what we pay in CA for one 1/4-1/3rd of that size!).I had the corn elote, which was really good. I had the three carne asada Tijuana tacos which was really good as well, but I could only finish one taco because the elote I was munching on filled me up already! My son liked his burrito as well-I couldn't even look at that burrito I was so full! Overall, the food rated a 4 start rating-solid and good food. It looks like a busy place with ongoing lines, so others must agree with me that this place is good!

This was amazing. We were in town for one day, and wanted some authentic Mexican food. They didn't disappoint. Fabulous.

Recommend by a coworker this place is fantastic spot for Mexican food. The surf and turf burrito I have ordered was flavorful but in case your palette desires a more complex make up there is a self serve bar filled with sauces, salsas and pickled veggies and peppers you can add to your entree. In addition to burritos, the tamales are also great. I have tried pork and chicken tamales and both were fantastic. This restaurant was very busy for lunch and with handful of tables you may need to grab your order to go. This is not a full service restaurant but rather quick stop spot with awesome Mexican food

I had an opportunity to stop by Bandido for lunch in Louisville. The place was quite lively with people on the inside and the presence of hispanic culture was in the atmosphere. I was happy to indulge in some Mexican food and was feeling like eating a good burrito. I ordered a breakfast burrito to eat now and a quesadilla for later. After ordering at the counter, the food was ready fairly quickly.My burrito was steak and egg. It was rather large in size and still hot. I was hungry and ate swiftly. About halfway through, the flavor became redundant and I was wishing for some kind of sauce in it. The steak was not extremely flavorful and I think I just don't like breakfast burritos with a large amount of eggs for some reason. I later reheated the pollo asado quesadilla. I wasn't a fan of it either. The chicken was lacking flavor as well as the rest of the quesadilla. Again I was wishing for some kind of sauce of sour cream to add some richness. I hate that I didn't like my food a I can be partial to true Tex-Mex most of the time. I don't think I will be returning again if I'm in the area.

We got pickup from here tonight and it was awesome. We ordered veg treeet tacos and beans and rice. Everything was good. I love their rice it is awesome! we will definetly be back.
