My fiance and I met with Jennifer from Bake my Day yesterday. After that meeting we are 100% certain we do not want to use her service. She cancelled our appointment last week and this week, tried to cancel about 20 minutes before the appointment ( we were already en route) When we arrived there, she was very rude. We could tell she did not want to be there, and was irritated that Mary was telling her that she needed to be, or that we just did not want to move our appointment again. She also did not want to provide us with the quote, because the venue would be paying for the cake; not understanding, that any overage in the cost, would result in us paying the difference. Which necessitates my need for seeing that quote. The cake was delicious and had we been treated better, there might have been a sale. But in the service industry, you can not trample your customers events because of your bad mood. We will be meeting with other bakeries this week and next week to decide the vendor we would like to use to provide the cake. But after the show we got yesterday from Bake my Day, it will not be that one. I now understand why she has such GLOWERING reviews on Social Media, Wedding Wire and Google Forums.

I would give zero stars if I could. We got our wedding cake from here. We too got nothing even close to what we asked for. I was in shock when I went to see the cake after it was delivered to the venue. We never got a tasting, so we had to randomly choose flavors of which I had no idea what they were like. I had no contact with Jennifer after we told her what we wanted. Thank god for our caterer who ended up taking care of everything for us!

Jennifer was super sweet and by the looks of all of her work, she is phenomenal with what she does. I met with her to pick up my cake and was so excited to get it. After getting home with it the day of my husbands 30th party, and after looking at it, I was a bit disappointed. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she immediately said yes and the price. I was expecting to receive what I showed her. Here is a side by side of what I thought I was getting and what i actually got.

If I could rate a 0, I would. I registered my kids for a class during their fall break which was to be my childcare for the day. On the Thursday preceding the event, I was notified that the event was cancelled due to lack of enrollment. There was NO mention in the event listing that it would be cancelled for lack of participation. Furthermore, the event was 3.5 weeks ago and the business STILL has NOT refunded the $244 I paid for the event.
