Ive been here 5 times at least for gas and in and out munchy runs. The staff here is really incompetent. I asked for a gas receipt for a gas pump and he responded by telling me, " I lost it and I can't print out another". Gas prices are fair but food and drinks are very pricey. Service is by far the worst besides the people that come here.

NO PUBLIC RESTROOM - NO THANKS.Gas was expensive, store was cooled off in this heat, there's a cooler with a door to buy beer, friendly staff, they have disposable gloves at the pumps - first I've ever seen and pretty cool idea.

This food mart is located in the Shell gas station. I was staying in the Econo Lodge across the street and I stopped by here to buy some drinks (Gatorade, water, and tea). I thought the prices were fair. Paying for the drinks was pretty quick even though there was a long line while I was there.

This place is fine - about what you'd expect for a gas station downtown, maybe even a bit cleaner. They do *generally* have what you're looking for inside, again for what you'd expect in a gas station. While it's slightly overpriced, my real issue is with the service/employees: not friendly, lackadaisical, and to be honest somewhat condescending of customers. I won't be returning.

absolutely horrible service. the cashier tried to fight me. ridiculous. they're gouging the prices on everything, especially food stuffs. this is especially heinous considering that they are one of two or three places you can buy groceries in the food desert that is Downtown Louisville.

I went there a couple of hours ago, and I'm still trying to figure out what did I do to piss off that Black female cashier who angrily slammed my money into my hand. She doesn't even acknowledge/greet me or tell me the total amount of items I'm paying like every cashier is supposed to do. I mean, it is me or maybe she's just having a shitty day?

I stopped and got $48.00 in lottery tickets here! They never handed me my tickets! I noticed when I got home, called 4 times! They was rude no we dont have your tickets!!! I called this morning, they found my tickets! I go to pick them up, the employee cashed my tickets! Black guy on register! He also kept my money!!! I talked to the manager Paula (very rude)! I told her what happened she told me I shouldn't of left my tickets!!! That's stealing! I dont drink, but think about how many drunk people and older people go in there! If an employee will steal from a customer, they'll steal from your company!!! Dont go to this gas station!!!

Stopped to get some lottery tickets on 12/29/2017 around 6:50 pm. African American girl at front counter was disrespectful, rude, never said thank you or anything else. Just a nasty mean look. Her boyfriend or male friend was leaning all on the counter talking to her. She made him move to wait on me, but to add insult to injury, she was carrying on a conversation with a friend on her CELL PHONE. She had the caller on speaker phone. Horrible customer service!!! Now I see why I always AVOID that location.

I only give this 1 Star, because that is the lowest rating possible. The service is outrageously poor. These clerks, especially the two women who work the the morning/afternoon shift (from my experience) treat the customers so badly that I'm surprised anyone ever goes in there. I never will again. The clerks are downright nasty. With a chain of customers backing up about five deep, they stand behind the counter and chit-chat, oblivious to wasting anyone's time. Asking for their help in anything is a huge burden for them both, after they complain or dismiss you, they outright insult you. I've seen this firsthand and myself have been the victim of their insults. When confronted with the question, "I'd like to speak with a manager," one of them stated, "We don't got no manager. We report directly to da owna." Bader's downtown on 1st street is like that hot dog spot in Chicago with the gimmick where people actually pay for bad service. The only reason that anyone goes in there is because they have a monopoly on gas in downtown Louisville, due to their location (on the Liberty/Jefferson/1st St. block.) If you are running low on gas downtown, I just hope you can get over to Broadway or Frankfort or past 9th, because you are going to have no choice but to stop at Bader's. The grocery prices are all marked up at least 20% higher than anywhere outside of downtown. Gas is $.50 more, a Coke $.30 more, and you can't eat any of the food they serve in house because, in their own words: "them hot dogs are cold" or "them corn dogs in there are old."If you are discerning about customer service and quality, then I challenge you to patronize Bader's and not have a worse than lackluster experience. It may even ruin part of your day.

The employees accused me of being on drugs bc I asked them for dollars bills in exchange for quarters bc the lottery machine doesn't take quarters. I had to go ten blocks to get bills and when I got back to Baders, bc I buy tickets there everyday, I asked the clerk his name and they started yelling at me to get out. I go to baders everyday and I am very mad about this. They have the highest prices in the louisville metro area and if I didn't just buy lottery tickets there I would NEVER spend my money with these people. This local business isn't interested in helping our community it is only trying to take advantage of the people that don't have a lot of money that live in the immediate area by price gouging on anything ot can. Support a store that hrlps our community, not takes advantage of it.
