Best burger in Lexington hands down. Friendly employees, friendly patrons, friendly everyone. I've been here three times and everything has been top tier. Come try it.

Just a fun, relaxed, easy going place to grab a beer and some food. There is a full bar and bottles of beer to choose from. Their menu is typical bar food but their black angus burgers are great. It is big, juicy, tasty, and comes with all the usual fixings. They also have tater tots to choose from along with fries and onion rings. The staff is very friendly and outgoing. The night we were there they had a live band. Worth stopping by and checking out.

Best Burgers, onion rings and fries! Mike, the owner is there most days and hands on - he takes pride in his restaurant and you can tell. Always feel welcome and cozy spot. Great location for horsemen. They have bands on the weekends that can fill space quickly. We will be back as we had a group happy hour for about 25 here and it was the perfect spot!

I moved into the neighborhood five years ago and always thought I need to go in this place to see what it was like and if I would be comfortable there. Well, I finally did and wish I had much sooner. The owner, Mike, introduced himself and asked my name and made me feel welcome. This is a really friendly neighborhood bar and worth patronizing. The food is regular bar food and good with generous portions. The cheeseburger is awesome and huge. Highly recommend this place.

I just bought a home nearby that I'm remodeling and don't usually have much time. So when I dropped into Backstretch I expected, like many neighborhood bars, to be "assessed" by everyone prior to figuring out if I was cool enough to be in their neighborhood bar (patrons more than owners). I was pleasantly surprised. Rachel, the bartender, and Mike, owner, were both working behind the bar and both welcomed me and introduced themselves. The service was great, the burger the best you can get on this side of town. It was fast, attentive, and followed up to ensure that I was happy. It's got a smokers patio for those of us who don't want to die from natural causes and the regulars out there were friendly and talkative. When I asked for my check I got it. Both Rachel and Mike thanked me for coming in and invited me back. Stop in and don't miss this one. I'm glad I'm a bike ride from the place.

This place is amazing! We stumbled across it and it turned out to be somewhere we will definitely return to. The food was great, cheeseburger and fries were tasty and the fried mushrooms were a huge hit. Mike was so friendly and fun, a true gem of a place. Recommend 100% for a fun evening with great bar food.

Well we were traveling through and got lucky! Great atmosphere! Great people, friendly, welcoming and great service. Food was very good and tried something new with fried banana peppers! Awesome!!

Fun restaurant service excellent. Good food. Wonderful to bring family from Florida. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon races Owner friendly n appreciated our business. Most definitely recommend.
