Love the environment! Food & service is great as always. A little chilly as the vents are right behind the tables, it was fine just gotta remember not to sit on the side closest to the wall!

Nice little tavern. Good food and prices. We had the tenderloin and shrimp platter. Both disappeared

First of all, I am a little confused by you, reader. Given that the answers to the questions: "What's the best place to eat/drink in St Anthony?", "What's the worst place to eat/drink in St Anthony?" and "Where's the closest place to drink in St Anthony after mass on Sunday?" are all "Arnie's", I'm not sure how much Yelp is going to help you in narrowing your choices (If you missed that.... this is the only place in St Anthony... and it's across from the church).Who knows, maybe you are from New York City, and are touring the countryside in search of how real country-living Americans drink. Maybe you need a place to build an alibi after having raised some trouble in Birdseye down aways on SR 64.Well in any case, here you go:This is the place they cut to in that scene of that summer blockbuster movie you saw when they want you to think "small town america". Hard working blue collar men in for a few drinks after a long day of honest hard work. Darn good hamburgers and huge bologna sandwiches, and the beer is cold. I'm sure Arnie wouldn't have it any other way. Stop into Arnie's for a dose of America. But leave your phone in your pocket.... to folks from these parts: "Yelp" is just the sound poor 'ol Rover made when the tractor backed over his tail last Sunday, not something to be playing with when you ought to be drinking and watching the game.

The food is very good. Fairly small menu, but it is all done perfectly. No liquor, only beer.

We were camping at Patoka Lake Campground and because of rain and some other circumstances we needed a place to eat. Arnie's really did the trick. The food was good and the prices were excellent. We had my 9 yr old son in tow and there is a separate dining room from the bar that was perfect. Their service was fantastic. Arnie's is just a nice, clean, no frills, sandwich and fries kind of place, but it was perfect for our needs.

We had a really great lunch here. My brother, his 9 y/o boy, and I all got our fill with very sizable portions. The lady who waited on us was very kind and perfectly attentive. The prices were also very affordable for the large portions. I'd gladly come back here again the next time I come to camp at Patoka Lake.

I don't think I can say anything bad. Maybe the fact that they don't take cards. Pork steak is unbelievable. Best hearts I have had. Plate lunches are very good and affordable. Fish on Friday is very good. The Sat night specials never miss. Great small town dive. Go early or prepare to wait.

Food is a solid 4. Always had a good meal here. Place is small. Primary reason for lower rating was really a manager or owner or something's use of profanity like a comma. Non stop on that evening with family in the place, simply no class, and no care for who else was in the joint. Again I love the food and typically have had good service just a bad apple in charge

Ordered the breaded tenderloin with curly fries. Everything was done perfectly, generous portions and the price was less than what I was expecting. Service was exceptional.
