Annie's Pizza

My friend and I decided to come here after seeing their menus over at nearby Kyros Brewery. I've known about Annie's for years as to where my friend never heard of the place. There is another one on Cane Run Road that I used to go to quite a bit years ago when I worked close to there. We actually came here with the intention of dining in, we were very surprised to see it looked as if the place was going under some kind of renovation. There were very limited seating options, one seat was taken over by delivery bags and the other was taken by someone already waiting for their order. There was on tv in the whole place as well. We placed our order to go and actually had to sit in the window sill since there was no other seating. I probably should've done some further investigation before coming here because I didn't know everything was torn out. As we were waiting we talked to some employees and were told renovations were on hold after one of the owners father passed away which is understandable. And one of them even discussed their personal life with us. We get that everyone is going through something but, not sure I'd tell my personal problems to people we don't know let alone customers. We finally get our order from one of the employees who apparently recognized us from our first visit to Kyros which was about 2 weeks before coming here, we sure didn't remember him and felt bad about it. We actually went to nearby Kyros and was able to snag a picnic table to eat at. My friend got the homemade lasagna and I got a personal pizza and the cheese breadsticks. My friend loved the lasagna but didn't try the garlic bread. I of course enjoyed my personal pizza and cheese breadsticks. They were as delicious as I remembered. We definitely plan on returning to eat there or just go to Kyros and eat it. Hopefully their inside will be coming along. Great food by the way.

Wow. Absolutely delicious. We got the Brooklyn style pizza. Perfect ratios of sauce and cheese, crust cooked to perfection. I wish I'd snapped a pic! Give them a try!

I do not like them anymore because I used my card to order and gave her money too and she did. Not get itBACK but there pizza is good

I had a friend mention this place. He said they always got carry out pizza from here. I've been in the Portland area on Monday's recently & tried it out today.I was not disappointed at all. The pizza I had was delicious. The ingredients looked & tasted fresh and high quality.I can't wait to try something else out on their menu!

Annie's Pizza is so good that I still eat there even after someone altered my tip. *It was a one time thing and the issue was taken care of.

This is one pizza place I can say I have never had a problem with. The orders are always on time and the price is great. Pizza is always hot and flavorful. Only reason I won't give this place 5 stars is because the inside really needs to be fixed and updated. Before COVID I went in side and I always felt like I was going to fall through the floor. So now I only do pick up or delivery.

I ordered a Philly steak on 08/27/2024 an my Philly steak was burnt an there was no steak on my sandwich....it was hard as a brick. This is my last time ordering anything from Annie's in Portland the few times my pizza was not good I'm completely done with this restaurant. I was wondering this place has to be under new management because it's surely not the ones who use to own this place an u can to tell. Thank you but no thank you.

Best pizza in Louisville, and has been for a while! Great prices, been eating here for years.

PORTLAND LOCATION!If I could give zero stars, I would.Placed an order last night 11/29/18, for 2Med Pizzas, before going to sleep for work. I work 3rd shift.1st - 2x Sausage with Extra Cheese.2nd - Pep & Sausage with Extra CheeseThe 2x Sausage was for the family to eat. The Pep & Sausage was mine to have for lunch while at work. After I placed and paid for the pizzas by card, I, went to sleep. When I woke up, I ate the last slice of 2x Sausage that was in the box, on my way out the door. During my lunch break is when I had 1 slice of the Pep & Sausage, and discovered the pizza had no bottom bake. The bottom is not cooked, as u can see in the pics. It's to the point, that the cutter didnt even cut the slices, because it was too doughy. The top of the pizza looks amazing.I never thought to look at the bottom of a pizza when it comes. It's just somethin, that's always right, when it arrives at the door. It was 2am, and obviously, they were closed. So, when I got off, I tried calling the store. Little to my surprise, they dont open until 3pm.Called the store today, was telling the woman who answered the phone, she treated me like a piece of shit. No concern whatsoever. Asked me if I had called last night about the pizza? I told her no, that they were closed. She tells me, "SHE" wouldve called "RIGHT AWAY" if her pizza was raw, as if I was telling a damn lie.I told her it was no way for me to speak with anyone, so I saved the pizza, as proof, but since i didnt call "last night", it was nothing they could do. Was told, if I had called, "last night", then they wouldve made me a new pizza and sent it out. When I told her the pizza was raw with no bottom bake, she told me that's how their pizzas are. A TOTAL FUCKIN LIE. Maybe the bottom burners had went out. I dont know. But, I know one thing, the bottom isnt cooked, and the pizza is very doughy, under the toppings.Treating me like I was trying to steal from them, was unacceptable. Not every person that calls with a concern, is trying to get something for FREE. All I wanted was to call it in, take them this pizza, and to pick up the new one. I didnt want a driver bring a free order. I asked her what should I do with this raw pizza, she said she didnt know, it wasnt her pizza.It shouldnt matter when I called back with a concern, as long as I had the product, that's all that should matter.Pictured are the pizzas when they came, after the pizzas came, the empty box of the good pizza, then the bottom of the raw pizza, so you can see the rawness. Along, with my proof of purchace.We use Annie's for our work functions. 30-40 pizzas. Never again!

This was the worst first time experience! i ordered a pizza which came an hour and forty minutes late! It was cold. if i have to put a pizza in a microwave before i even eat it right after opening the box that was just delivered. I will never go to this pizza place again! #badservice
