Love their sandwiches! I always get the Stromboli! They also have good breadsticks with both sauces!

Angelos is a special gem in Rockport. They have a really good lunch buffet. My favorite menu offering are the hot, glistening Strombolis! There is nothing like a Southern Indiana stromboli & Angelos really nails it. Other big winners, BREADSTICKS. Hot ham & cheese! Al Capone sandwich & the silencer pizza. I'd really like to know what they do to get their sandwich bread so shiny and soft and delicious. Every time I visit Rockport, I make a point to visit Angelos!

How the great have fallen. Being from Owensboro, I've been in Rockport a few times in my life. I've got a friend who grew up in the Reo/Rockport area. We would always stop here and get the breadsticks. They've a thinner type of bread stick. They actually look like a opossum tail, random comparison, I know. I remember they were always so good. The Parmesan cheese was unique & had a sweet flavor to it. The dough also was different in a good way. It's been about ten years since I've had Angelos. My friend bought a home in the area & we came up from Nashville to visit. We ordered a couple orders of breadsticks for old time sake. An order of breadsticks (or breadstix) will run you $3.25. The order also comes with cheese. It's the nacho cheese type, but tastes more artificial than I remember. Did it used to come with marinara sauce? The breadsticks tasted like they'd been there for a while. The parmesan cheese was sparse & didn't taste like it used to. It was very dry, the sticks weren't great either, the dough didn't have much flavor, & dipping it in the cheese sauce didn't help. I wished I'd let the memory stay with me & not try them again.

If your a native, a passer by'er or you just come from time to time.... ANGELO'S is the place to be! People come from all over for the "Breadsticks w/cheese" mmmmmmMmm good stuff. It has been said that the Owner has even boxed up & sent breadsticks across seas to one of our US Soldiers while fighting in Iraq because he loves them too! Their pizza, hot ham and cheese, SALADS, spaghetti.. everything is Great & their prices cannot be bear! They also serve a lunch buffet complete w/fried chicken during lunch hrs. Just an amazing place to go. They stay open later on Sunday evenings because they know all the church folks in town will want to come and fellowship after all their services are over. Just a good, wholesome & family establishment!!

I would say that Angelo's has been a favorite for my entire life. Although I live away from the Rockport area, when I come in to visit family, it is a requirement that we have Angelo's while I am at home. I have friends that have moved away as far as Miami that completely miss the breadsticks that they make! They have a great buffet at lunch during the week that has not only pizza, but also lasagna, fried chicken, etc... a little bit of something for everyone. If you are ordering off of the menu, they not only have pretty good pizza, but also different sandwiches available such as the Al Capone (pepperoni based) and the Stromboli (sausage based). A great tip is to order the pizza with Stromboli sausage for a different, milder taste. A must have are the breadsticks! They are dusted with a combination of parmesan cheese and garlic powder. The pizza can be hit or miss depending on who is making it, but for the most part it is usually more hit than miss. Although they don't have delivery, for those of us spoiled city folks, they usually will have your pickup order ready in about 15-20 minutes. The place is usually packed on a Friday night after football or basketball games, but don't let it deter you, it is certainly worth the wait. Make sure when you order you ask about the daily special.

This place is great! The breadsticks with cheese is a must! It's also fairly cheap to eat! It's a little hole in the wall place but don't let that scare you away. It's the best pizza in town!

When I'm back home in South Spencer, I come here sometimes.Memories of just coming after band practice with my friends, taking stupid selfies in the bathroom, hanging out in the arcade area, it just all comes back to me when I go to this place.I like their breadsticks and I could scream like a banshee seeing that they have Big Red as a drink option. However, the pizza isn't really my favorite. Something about that sauce just isn't working out for me. I mean I'll eat it, because goodness me, I'm a big boy who loves to eat. But it's just not my favorite.Who cares about the pizza though? It's about the memories and laughter you make while being there that counts.

This place was very dirty, floors, walls, the bathrooms, including that the toilet didn't flush. Despite the fact the food was ok I don't want to know what the kitchen looks like and I won't be back.

Service was not very good. We walked in and ordered at the counter. Got our drinks and took a seat in one of the side rooms as the booths in front of the camera. We gave them a name. After 15 minutes our cheese sticks did not come out. Frustration set in. After 30 minutes we inquired and they had our food sitting in to go boxes. The food was really good. The large strom is quite a sandwich and will provide you with lunch tomorrow. The pizza was very good as well. The layout of the place could be better.
