Amazing Joe's Grill

My review from 5 years ago came up and the funny thing is, this experience clearly didn't set in my memory because I have zero recollection of going here 5 years ago. However 2 years ago, we started going fairly regularly. The food is amazing. The service is amazing and their cinnamon ice cream is out of this world! If they sold it in gallons, I would buy it BUT it may not make it the 2 hour drive home. We've tried many different things on the menu and have yet to have a bad item. The only bad part...it's ALWAYS packed!!

Food was great Jade is a great server from out of state. If I come back this is the place too go I can't say enough about the atmosphere and food .

We were in Columbus, IN, with a need for dinner. However, we did have to drive across Columbus IN to get to the location.1. the fried mushrooms and hore radish-based dip were incredible.2. The salad (Ceasar) was fresh, and the dressing was spot on3. OK, so normally, this slot would be the steaks, but instead, we will say the Mashed Potatoes and gravy were awesome!4. Oh, did we mention a grill and steaks? Yup, we had steaks. Cooked to perfection.The option, by the way, of crumbled blue cheese on your steak? Yes, please!You know a place is good when you have to wait. We did, and the place was packed on a Friday night.If you wander to Columbus IN, add Amazing Joe's to your meal plan!!!!

I update my review of Amazing Joe's based on an Amazing turnaround in Service. I always found the food to be very good but Service was lacking. Nick has turned this place around by visiting with the guests and taking time to speak with the patrons. Great job, Nick. My wife and I ate there last night at primetime 7 p.m. The place was pretty full and yet the service was excellent. Nick stopped by a couple of times to check on us. Most people like the steaks and / or the ribs, as do I, but l this time i tried the pork chop with Cajun seasoning. 5/5 stars. My wife had the usual fish plate and she said it also was very good. As far as the lights shining in my face (see prior review) that's still a problem but I solved it by unscrewing the light bulb. The staff and management had no problem with that , and I think found it a bit humurous. I screwed it back in before leaving in case the next guest in that booth wanted to be dining under a flood light!!!. Anyway, I'm happy to have a nice restaurant to visit in Columbus and happy to change my rating to 5 stars.

No chef, owners believe in consistency not creativity! Big pass! I prefer a chef when dining out, I drive to surroundings cities for dinner in establishments that employ chefs not managers for the kitchen.

Always great food! Steak was on point! Love the green beans! And good beer! I think we've had the same server the past 3 visits. Does great job

My boyfriend and I ate at Amazing Joe's for the first time tonight and we absolutely loved it! Rebecca was our server, and not only was she very sweet, but she was also very attentive. I ordered the chicken kabob meal and for my two sides, a house salad, and mashed potatoes. Our server made it known that everything is made from scratch and we were very pleased! My boyfriend ordered the ribeye and added sautéed mushrooms & onions. We are so, so happy with this restaurant and will definitely be back!

We were the first customers of the afternoon with a 4 pm open. Restaurant was very clean and the staff were very nice. Had my first bowl of peanut slaw, delicious! Food was cooked just as it was ordered and everything was very good!

So far, hands down, our favorite place to have lunch or dinner! We stumbled upon Joe's when we moved to Columbus after our son said the one near Ball State was really good! So glad we tried it! We have not been disappointed yet! They have fantastic steaks, burgers, Cajun pasta, ribs are pretty good too! We can't get enough of the sweet potato fries with caramel dipping sauce, or the warm garlic bread! Their mozzarella sticks and marinara are the best I've had in many years! The onion ring tower is a favorite. The staff is friendly and always so great! Great place for friends night out, date nights or family dinner! Don't let the full parking lot deter you from going! Tons of seating inside and outside and we've never waited more than 15 minutes, even when you couldn't get in the door to the hostess station because they're so packed. I highly recommend going soon, if you haven't been, you're missing out!!
