I had the absolute best experience with Amanda! I wanted to surprise my girlfriend with a proposal/photo shoot and when I reached out to Amanda last minute she responded the same day. I had no idea where I wanted to propose but thankfully Amamda is very knowledgeable about the Fresno/Clovis area and I had a lot of different locations to pick from. Not only that she's a very kind and positive person who made the whole experience fun and memorable! Our pictures turned out amazing and she really knows how to capture a moment! I will be recommending her all of my family and friends!

Amanda photographed two engagement sessions and our wedding delivering beautiful, timeless pictures and memories! She is approachable, professional, and incredibly talented!During the sessions, she made us feel at ease and directed us the first time since we had never done professional pictures before. During our second session, we brought our two dogs and she captured some funny, real moments (dogs jumping, taking the dogs on a walk, etc), as well as perfect family photos with everyone, including both dogs, staring into the camera lens. She was also the MVP of our wedding. She not only captured every moment of the day, but she ended up coordinating the event after our planner caused a few major errors. She handled everything with ease and was so approachable our wedding guests even commented on how amazing she is! I wish she could document every occasion for us because her pictures are that beautiful! Book Amanda, you won't regret it!

After seeing Amanda Bailey's response and the blatant untruths published therein, I emailed her immediately to request the "full response" she referenced and also to address the fabricated claim (arbitrarily blaming my husband for her mistake.) She ignored my emails for two weeks until I wrote again, in fairness, to let her know Matt would be responding to her review. She then responded and told me she was ignoring me because my communications were unwarranted. I have nothing to gain from this review, the damage has been done in my case. But please heed this advice. Boudoir photography is a wonderful thing and I am SO glad I did it and that I had such a great gift to provide my husband with while he was deployed. But it is crucial that you read the fine print, and work with a photographer you trust. I was new to this and trusted Amanda due to her very sweet demeanor and verbal assurances. But everything she has done to take advantage of me is explained away by Amanda based on a technicality, rather than an apology and an acknowledgement that it was a simple ethical lapse. She assured me on several occasions that she would be shooting Matt's homecoming ceremony, saying "you've been on my books for months!" but would not allow me to pay the deposit. Now that she has cancelled it, she is explaining it based on the fact that we never had a contract. Much the same way, she explains her use of the photos I did not approve use of on the "release". She says the "release" is actually just a courtesy (she sat and explained to me that I just needed to put an X next to the ones I didn't want her to use and she wouldn't use those) and that I should have read the fine print, copying in an email response to me: "for publication in advertising materials, websites, blogs, portfolios, displays, or other promotional methods for Amanda Bailey Photography without compensation for such." I also trusted her when asking exactly how she planned to use the photos and she went beyond that as well. Please learn from my mistake. Boudoir photography can be one of the most rewarding and fun experiences of your life, but you can also be taken advantage of very easily. Also, there are many many many talented photographers. I've usually made my decision just based on whether their photos are good, but there is so much more to it than that, especially with sensitive or intimate photography. Contact me if you have any questions at all.

Amanda is an amazing photographer. I've thought about getting photos done by her for the longest time and I finally found an excuse - college graduation! :-) Her prices are very reasonable for on location photos. She's a sweetheart and makes the experience feel very comfortable. I'll totally recommend her to all of my friends and family! xoxo

Amanda showed up late, left before her hour and a half was up, gave the minimum amount of pictures, and deleted my previous review that gave her one star. $325 for 20 images and her to tell me she doesn't sell her raw images and that if the image is B/W, it probably looked better than the color. Two of the 20 images were candid where I was in them and I wasn't supposed to be in any pictures (didn't dress to have my picture taken). My newborn is too old to have them redone. What a waste and a missed opportunity!

Amanda is AMAZING!! I am not sure there is enough space to say how great she is. Amanda shot our families deployment pictures and even though we had never met, she perfectly captured our family! The day that we shot, it was cold and windy and having an infant that did not make for a happy baby. Amanda was patient and on multiple occasions even held our daughter and was able to calm her down. Her professionalism is on point and her pictures are beautiful. I left that day defeated because I felt that between my crying child and the crazy wind, we would not get any good pictures. Little did I know that she was able to produce over 50 BEAUTIFUL images. Her turn around time is the fastest I have seen and communication with her is so easy as she normally writes back immediately. Lastly, I asked her to photoshop a picture for me and she did a great job. I am so grateful I picked her and couldn't have asked for this difficult time to be captured any more beautifully. Thanks Amanda :)
