Aloft has quickly become one of my favorite hotel chains whenever I hit the road with my furry companion. Their super pet-friendly vibe makes traveling with a dog a breeze! During my recent overnight stay, I was delighted that my friend was also checked in, making it a perfect little getaway. The check-in process was refreshingly quick and hassle-free. To my surprise, I was greeted with a delightful welcome bag specifically for my dog, stuffed with goodies like tasty treats, a poop bag, and a cute little bowl for mealtime. A unique "Do Not Disturb" sign was also provided, letting other guests know that while my dog was settling in, any potential barking was simply the sounds of a happy pup in his temporary home.I arrived on a lively Friday night, and the hotel's atmosphere was buzzing. The bar area was filled with fellow guests who were clearly enjoying their stay, creating a vibrant energy that added to the overall experience.Parking was straightforward, with a paid garage in front of the hotel. If you want the flexibility to come and go, ask the front desk about in-and-out privileges, which come with a different fee.I can't recommend Aloft enough! Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, their incredible service, comfortable rooms, and prime locations make every adventure unforgettable. If you're looking for a hotel that welcomes you and your four-legged friend, Aloft is the place to be!

I enjoyed my recent two night stay here. Great location, comfortable room and nice shower with overhead faucet and high-water pressure!Good on-site bar and lounge area, while the food option wasn't great for breakfast-pretty average fare and took awhile to prepare after ordering at front desk.

I've never stayed at an Aloft but now I can say I have. I was in Louisville for work for four days and since this hotel is close to work we booked our stay here. I was in room 514. The lobby area is really nice with a bar to the far right as you walk in, lots of seating areas including a fireplace in the front and a small convenience area with food and drinks to the left. I didn't eat at the hotel so can't speak to the food. The staff here is super accommodating and friendly. I drink a fair amount of hot tea and the four tea bags in my room were go within a day, so they were kind enough to give me more tea when I requested it. They also have coffee set up in the lobby in the mornings. The room is pretty worn. The bed had an indent where people had slept on the side closest to the door so I slept on the opposite side. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but it was good enough. The shower had good water pressure and Dry Bar products were in the shower. I have wavy hair and the Dry Bar shampoo and conditioner were good for my hair. The closet is pretty nonexistent, so don't bring a lot of clothes that require hangers. The hotel is pretty noisy. I heard people coming in late and doors slamming pretty often. One of my colleagues said they were vacuuming outside her room at 9 or 10 pm, which is weird. If this was a vacation, I wouldn't pick Aloft to stay. Not that I'm a hotel snob but Aloft definitely has a budget feel in the rooms.

Hotel room is blah. They do a terrible job of cleaning your room in the middle of your stay. We took the "do not disturb" sign down because we needed clean towels & our shower essentials refilled. Came back to the room- NOTHING was cleaned or straightened up. Beds unmade. Shower floor towel was left. And none of the bottles (shampoo/conditioner/gel) were refilled. I had to ask the desk to have them come fill the shower supplies- still beds were unmade. No extra toilet paper in the room. No extra kleenex.... And don't even get me started on the room temperature. The lowest we could get the room was 65, which felt more like 75. The only reason this is not a 1 star review was AJ at the lobby bar.The highlight of this review is for the lobby bar, more specifically for A.J. the bartender. AJ was the MAN!!! Great personality. Wealth of knowledge when it comes to Kentucky Bourbon. After chatting with my brother and me for a few minutes he started his suggestions. Between my collection and my brothers we have close to 300-400 bottles of bourbon so we know what we like. AJ tasted us on a couple local gems we had never heard of- WOW! Each pour got better and better!AJ knew the LA area (our hometown) so it was fun to discuss the then & now of when he lived in Cali. Nice to hear a local Kentuckian's perspective on downtown Louisville. We were shocked on how few homeless we saw and how safe we felt in Louisville compared to the disaster called LA. We laughed and told stories of where he lived in his time in Cali to how bad it has become. Even if you are not staying at the Aloft, swing by the lobby bar. There is an open sitting area on Main St. Over 150 bottles and best of all- AJ recommending and pouring behind the bar!

We recently stayed in the Aloft for a few nights and had a pretty good experience. Due to some travel frustrations, we missed our connection into Louisville and ended up arriving a day later than planned. I had sent a message to them via the app to explain the situation and they asked me to check in via the app to avoid a "no show" fee and cancellation of my reservation. I did as I was told and everything was seamless thereafter. The place is very centrally located. You really can't do much better. We were there for the Bourbon Trail and there were places within pretty short walking distances. They were also plenty of restaurants and other things to do very close by. The lobby is pretty big with a little area to get snacks (more hefty than the standard). There is also a bar that operates bar hours but we did not take advantage of this (all Bourbon'ed out, you understand). Our room was on the smaller size but big enough for our suitcases which is really all we need. There was a decent view from our windows as well. The bed was SUPER comfy. The towels were soft. The shower water pressure was perfection. Unfortunately, there clearly had been a small leak from above which some black mold had taken the opportunity to grow in and this, somehow, had not been noticed or rectified by the staff. The AC worked wonderfully. We didn't hear jack shit from anyone else. The parking is right across the street and I love the option to self park as well as valet. We randomly got an electric vehicle from enterprise and we were able to charge the car overnight. Very convenient. The staff were all very friendly. Despite checking in on the app and selecting the "daily housekeeping" option, we were asked again when we actually checked in in the flesh. GF did a little switch up and stated that we didn't need it. We were very pleasantly surprised to see our room made up anyway, all of our towels renewed. The mold in the shower was a lil blemish on an otherwise very solid stay.

I'm a Marriott fan but they are not all created equal.First off, the staff here was exceptional. The day shift lady at the front desk was amazing (wish I caught her name). I had called the day before and made a room request, which she helped secure for me. Then when I checked in, she remembered me. Love that! The bar staff was friendly yet I think shocked we ordered beer not bourbon We did not order food but there were lots of people eating and it looked really good. We went out for dinner then came back and played games (connect 4, jenga and pool). The rooms were big, well designed and full of light. We had one king and a queen double. I was shocked at the space. The rooms offer roll down shades which kept out the morning sun until we were ready to fully wake up. Love this feature! The bathroom shower was awesome! Hot water. High water pressure. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash! Self parking said $34 but we parked across the street at the garage and paid $22.

Enjoyed staying here while in town. The Aloft never disappoints! Super rad place, comfy beds, always in center of town with an awesome bar. Even spent time in the lounge area and played some pool and connect four.

I had a nice stay here during a road trip from TX to MD. It was my first time in Louisville and I couldn't not stay in the downtown Bourbon District!Despite it being COVID-19 times and nothing in the hotel was open, there were still some good restaurants open that were a short walk away (Doc Crow's, Wild Eggs, etc.). The staff at Aloft were professional and my room was real clean/modern. I like how they sell high-end bourbon in the lobby (George T. Stagg and Pappy Van Winkle 15 year).Aloft is a great hotel chain!

There were only three real issues besides the price. It was our first time in the area and since the concert venue recommended the hotel, we thought we would give it a try. The building is modern and clean and the front desk employees were very nice. 1- The shower had mold and fungus around the bottom of the shower. It was disgusting. I used the mat that you dry off on outside the shower and actually used it inside the shower so that I wouldn't get any of that stuff on me. My wife opted not to take a shower which is not like her since we are clean people.2- The AC worked great. It just sounded like an out of balance washing machine and was very loud.3- Since we did not get in until after midnight, we set an alarm for 9:30 to get out since checkout is 11:00 AM. At 8:50AM, housecleaning was knocking on the door and woke us up. She wanted to know if we were ready to check out so that she could clean the room. Really?I would never stay there again. For the price of $220.00, I would have been just as happy to stay at a Best Western or a Motel 6 and save my money.

Awesome location in Downtown town area. Easy walk to distilleries and great restaurants. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms and common areas clean and nicely accommodated. Breakfast is just okay. If you have to grab something quick it is fine, but would recommend trying one of the other breakfast places in downtown. Our room was missing closet door, the toilet handle wasn't working and we were locked out of our room for about 45min while a nice lady from the front desk tried to reset it.
