Aladdin's

One are for $18.99 before the tip. Firstly, it's on the river walk, ample parking and beautiful views. Inside is cozy, clean and well lit. The steak sandwich was excellent - large amount of meat and mixed well with sauce and tomatoes etc. The onion rings were solid - firm and didn't slip out when biting into - excellent!Service was fast and nice people.

Wifey wanted Mediterranean for her birthday and chose Alladin. I checked it out on Yelp and found great reviews. It is a cute place near the river in New Albany. You dont see the river because of the flood wall. We ordered our food with Mike, the owner from Jordan, then sat outside in the courtyard since it was about 75 degrees with a breeze. Tammy was our gracious server. Tammy brought out the hummus, Baba Ghanoush and Pita bread. It was all quite different from anywhere else we dined at, which is many places in several states. We both had the the rotisserie beef and lamb Yee Ro with onion rings on the side. The rings had big crunch and served with a different ranch I ever had. The Yee Ro's had great flavor along with the Tzatziki sauce. I ordered some Baklava to go and trust it will be fine also. I'm confident we will be back, especially since it is close to home. Until now, we had to travel across the river to Louisville for good Mediterranean food. Funny while we were there, all patrons ate outside in the courtyard and none inside. It was a beautiful day and glad we found Alladin's.

Had another amazing experience at Aladdin's. We went on a Tuesday around 7:00pm. There were a few families sitting inside but we were able to find a table. We looked over the menu and went up to place our orders. Our food was ready within 10-12 minutes. We ordered the hummus which is always amazing & is the best hummus I've ever had. If you haven't had their hummus - you should put it on the top of your to-do list. We also tried several new things this trip: baba ghanoush (different & delicious if you like eggplant), falafel (delicious), the rotisserie gyro with beef & lamb (so fresh & juicy), & the steak sandwich (absolutely incredible, full of flavor, highly recommend). We also tried the Turkish coffee with cardamom - it was very rich (which I loved) & after a few sips I could feel the caffeine. We also tried the homemade Nutella cheesecake - the cheesecake was perfectly creamy & the crust was good too! The service is always friendly & welcoming at Aladdin's. We love this place!

Amazing. Simply amazing.I have not had Mediterranean food this good since I left Chicago - in 2013! There is nothing in Louisville that compares, thats for sure. And I have tried them all. I wanted to start with a classic, because if they mess up the classic, you know there is no hope for anything else on the menu. So I ordered the Rotisserie (Beef & Lamb) Gyro. Topped with original Tzatziki Sauce, Tomatoes, Onions & Lettuce, wrapped in a Gyro Pita with rice. This plate was huge and hot and super fresh. The meat was succulent, the toppings crisp and there was so much rice I didn't even get through half before giving up. I also had a sample of the onion rings and can confirm those are legit too.Interior isnt much to speak of, but many people came in for takeout and there is a lovely outdoor area that I woud definitely take advantage of in the warmer months.I am excited to come back and try other stuff!

Aladdin's is a hidden gem, tucked away in a cute little "underground" area in New Albany. Honestly if it wasn't for Yelp I don't think we would have ever came across it on our own, and that would have been a tragedy. The doors were clearly marked that there was no service, you can dine in but your food would be given to you as if it was to go. I personally love this concept, it makes for an easy getaway when I'm ready to go. You order, you pay, boom the hard parts done, there is no waiting around for the check and take out boxes at the end of your meal, love it. I will say I'm not a fan of the extra waste this method produces but that's the only down side. Alright now for what we've all been waiting for...the food. I have to start by saying HOLY MOLY! I was not expecting to get one of the best steak sandwiches of my life there, but it happened.I had the Aladdin's steak sandwich (minus the green peppers add tomatoes and lettuce) and it was perfect. It actually got better the more I ate, no diminishing returns here. The juice from the meat mixed with the mayo on the pita bread...YUM! It was great, made me wish I lived closer to New Albany. I have a feeling I'm going to be making a lot of trips over the bridge this summer. The man behind the counter (I'm assuming the owner) was extremely nice and made sure we had everything we needed. I can't wait to go back and I highly suggest you go try them out as well!

My husband and i tried Aladin's for the first time today and we were pleasantly surprised! The grilled chicken was seasoned to perfection and I was so full towards the end but just couldn't stop eating. There's no servers so you just order your food when you walk in and they call your name when it's ready. The desserts looked phenomenal but we were so full we didn't have room left. We will definitely be back!

We had heard that this business and location was a good one. We attempted to stop there pre Covid19 but arrived a little late as they had just closed.We had another opportunity while in New Albany current Covid19 so we knew things won't quite be the same. 1st seating was spread out within the courtyard, although not big but spacious and good weather.2nd seeing the owner and presumed son handling customers via social distancing but cordially and professionally.3rd noticed many showing up for take out and promptly serviced with their orders.4th the people picking up seemed to be satisfied and genuinely happy with their pickup (like they did this before and glad to be back)We approached the stand near the front door where they take orders; asked for a menu and given time to review it and ask questions.I ordered the gyro sandwich with a Greek salad and my wife got the gyro plate ( since it didn't have bread and gluten free. We ordered 2 beers as well. We sat down in the middle of the courtyard and watched all theses customers showing up to pick up take out.Shortly our beers were deliver and nice an cold. About 15 minutes later our meals were brought to our table and we were greeted and presented the check which was completed right there.Uncovering my sandwich and her box we were greeted with an abundant sandwich and lunch.The Greek salad was almost perfect and tasty; the sandwich was nice size and the first bite was delicious and I just couldn't wait for the next biteMy wife's box was nicely arranged and generous and tasty. Since she couldn't have cheese I had plenty of dressing to share with out adding the cheese.Truly a place to stop and have a delicious gyro. Can't wait to go back! Support them in these tough times because we need them to be there for a good meal in the future.I doubt you will be disappointed!

We LOVE this place! Authentic and crazy delicious middle eastern food, (owner is from Jordan).Family run and operated, super friendly and accomodating. For instance, we had my wife's birthday party there and they accommodated our entire family and friends (over 25 people)!Lemme me put it this way, on a recent visit I saw 2 chefs from neighboring restaurants coming in for take out at lunch...with that kind of endorsement, you know the food is special.Try everything, it's all great!

Food was good, service was prompt and the place has a chill atmosphere. I would recommend to anyone who's likes Mediterranean cuisine.

This is a local gem. The food is delicious and served piping hot out of the kitchen. My hummus and pita were brought out first and the pitas were soft and warm, the hummus smooth and rich and flavorful. My chicken shawarma sandwich was so yummy, lots of flavor. We ate outside and the service was good. The interior dining room is pretty basic but would be fine if it is too hot to sit outside. Check their online menu out - there are lots of great options.
