Al-Nahrain Supermarket

We frequent this market occasionally to purchase various items for a variety of exotic recipes. The store is well-stocked, easy to access, and has a multitude of products from various locales. The store has always been clean during our visits and the staff have been available to assist. Check the expiration dates, as we did notice after one of our visits that the Bulgarian canned cheese was pushing the limit. Otherwise, we have been satisfied with the quality of the olive oil, olives, spices, peppers, beans, and lentils purchased on multiple occasions.

Today was my second visit to this establishment, and I will continue to shop here. The store is clean, well organized, and the staff on both occasions has been very helpful.I am part Greek and love Mediterranean food, and this store had all of the ingredients I needed which the local grocery stores do not carry.First visit I purchased: a jar of grape leaves, orange blossom water, tea (they have a huge selection from which to choose), dates (even though the local stores carry these, this store sells dates which are much fresher and are way more reasonably priced), and I was looking for lamb mince (aka ground lamb, they did not have any ground already, but offered to grind it for me while I waited). I went home to make my dolmades and the lamb was so fresh that I knew I would return here for more in the future.My second visit (12/30/23) I purchased: another jar of grape leaves, cinnamon sticks, extra virgin olive oil, more lamb mince (which they again ground fresh for me), and a whole organic chicken. They offer a wide variety of pickled vegetables, many different spices, fresh meat (goat, lamb, beef, and chicken), among so many other items you just cannot find anywhere else. On top of the fact they are very reasonably priced for the quality of the items offered.This is my new favorite store in town!

This is one of the newest middle eastern convent stores in town, they are well stacked and ready for you, well organized and clean, they make their own coffee and halal butcher on site.They also added a huge section for ceramic tea cups sets and home decor, huge selection of rugs for the winter time.

Chicken not clearly marked as "Organic" even though the price charged are organic. I am hoping next time I am there it is clearly marked otherwise I may have to file a complaint with consumer protection to have clearer labels. Polite people though

I got bread , rose water , I pint camel milk and some cheese and it was $29 but I didn't notice until I got home and I was like ... wtf wait a minute ... yeah I got rope a doped . Never gain

Basically thieves by not pricing things and charging you ridiculous amounts. Not friendly at all, don't even speak to you and will just stare at you as you shop around.
