Let's start with the positives. Service was great, beer was cold. Margaritas hmmm so so. Food:Appetizers crusted Brussel sprouts. Wow! Wow! Those may have been some of the best ever. Pretty small portions for the price only downside. Deviled eggs from app menu. Not worth a nickel! This is where everything goes a rye. A lot of the taco had macaroni in them. I don't understand that at all. We all had the three variety sampler. I wasn't real impressed with any of them. It seems Agave just goes a little overboard with trying to make a taco special. Price to food just not there for me. 4 people 4 alcoholic drinks 2 apps $131 without tip. I'm sticking with authentic Mexican not fancy wanna be!Ambiance was good. Nice clean restaurant good music

The atmosphere is cool and unique. Conveniently located in downtown area. And I will say the service was good and helpful. Came here for lunch and I just wasn't impressed. I immediately noticed that these are some high dollar tacos. The menu is massive, and I wasn't sure what to order so I went with 3 "The Bomb" tacos. Food came out and every taco was filled to the brim with Mac and cheese and barely any meat. Actually no meat at all on one of the tacos. Just tortilla, Mac and cheese, and a dribble of bbq sauce I think it was? Maybe a bad choice on my part ordering that, but I was disappointed. Can't say I have any reason to go back. Some high dollar Mac and cheese and tortillas in my experience.

Took my friend here, as he hadn't been to agave and rye before, and it'd been a while for me. I got a taco flight with the bang bang, the tae tae, and the becky I think. My friend just got 1 taco. Good service, our waiter made recommendations to my friend. We liked the decorations of this location. I like the other location more, as usually this one is too loud for me, but it was pretty quiet with the snowy day. They didn't have the taco flights last time I went to either location, and think I'll be getting that from now on!

McKenna gave amazing service!! I love the out of the box taco concepts at agave and rye. Today was my first time trying the crown jewel. A taco with Mac and cheese, lobster, mushroom and truffle oil definitely chefs kiss. This restaurant is super colorful, fun atmosphere. Music was great!

This place has such a fun vibe. Our waitress was super nice and helpful. We got taco flights that were fun and a new spin on tacos as well as the plain Jane quesadilla, which was anything but plain. It's also conveniently located near the children's museum so is a convenient spot for lunch.

Walked down from The Sire Hotel. Nice walk. Delicious food. Margs are half price on Monday. We shared an egg roll. It was delicious! The blue cheese dressing was incredible. I had the Plain Jane Taco. It was messy and yummy. Huge taco. My husband got the salmon taco. Also very large. They offer several vegetarian options and many items can be made GF. Very interesting decor. TVs everywhere. Easily accessible for those challenged with stairs. Service by Shay was prompt and she was knowledgeable about the menu. I highly suggest the spicy salt for your margaritas. It took the margaritas to the next level if tastiness. Monday afternoon had little traffic and they didn't mind us waiting out the rain at our table.

Quite a Wow! Every dish was large and delicious. Only downside was that the Lobster Taco was filled with Lobster on top but pasta noodles to plump it up. Was fine but didn't like the pasta. The appetizers, corn and the Brussels sprouts were very good.

Fantastic experience on a game night! They were busy, but we got there right at 5pm, and in less than 20 minutes we had a table for five. The server kept our drinks full and chips coming until the food was ready. Food was amazing, as always, with large portions and interesting combinations. We have always had great food and service. Will return soon!
