Friendly Staff, quiet Home-feel ambience, and the food was so tasty I did not want to stop eating. This place is located in an area surrounded by over priced establishments that serve mostly deep fried foods. Addis is a breath of fresh air! Decent pricing for a good amount of food.If I lived here I might make this a weekly visit!

Excellent and deliciously prepared food! A smaller menu and limited hours for lunch and dinner . Very friendly people, huge plate of food and made with passion. A++

Overall food was just ok, humus was the best. Grape leaves were not good. Service was adequate.

Efficient and food was very very good. I like how you order take a number and your food comes when ready. Waiting was not an issue for me. They have three people that work there. So I was prepared. Honestly the service was quick in spite of the small staff. Give this place a try. I'm definitely going to go back.

Service is awful. I placed an order and they never made my food. I showed up 30 minutes after placing my order and they said they didn't have it. But then they pulled it up on the computer when I demanded proof it was cancelled. But they still weren't able to cancel it. Going to have to dispute it through my credit card now. And now I'm hangry.

This is the hidden gem of Louisville. We walked in one night and the wait was 30 mins so we left. As we were leaving, patrons told us it was worth the wait. We came back the next night and were almost turned away because they ran out of food. Thank God they let us come in as the last cuatomers of the night... omg the food was DIVINE. First review using that description. The lamb was out of this world! The chicken masalla was godly. They Lao have a huuuge beer selection. The owner was also very attentive and made pleasant conversation. The ambiance was homey and nothing special. Will be back many times!!

I loved this place. The food is fantastic. The ambiance is very relaxed and nothing fancy at all. Very high quality food though and the portions for the main meal were huge (probably enough for 2 meals for the majority of people). I tried the kufta and chicken plate (with hummus, rice, and salad) as well as the baklava. The chicken was super tender and delicious. The garlic oil sauce gave it extra moisture, but it was already great the way it is. Cooked to perfection. The chunks are a bit big, but easy to eat.The kufta was equally delicious. It had a bit more seasoning than the chicken, which I liked. Once again, great flavors. They give you a fair amount of rice which is very fluffy and well cooked. It came with a vibrant little salad. It was fine, nothing too crazy. I really liked their take on croutons. They were more crispy than the average crouton and added a ton of savory flavor. The baklava was pretty good. Probably not the best I've ever had, but still solid. The price is very reasonable. I would have liked a more sweet and syrupy baklava.Really what set this place apart from others was the service. I was trying to find this place and randomly ran into the owner, who helped me find it. He was very nice and talked to me about his life, the restaurant, the food, and his experiences in Pittsburgh. He even gave me a free drink! What a great guy.All in all, I highly recommend this place. It's run by awesome people and the food is also super tasty. Very reasonable prices, high quality food, and great portions.

Authentic Ethiopian cuisine prepared with loving care and fresh ingredients on a bed of injera. We were nervous about going in because no one was eating when we arrived but later realized there was a huge Worldfest that evening with foods from around the world. We weren't disappointed and probably had a better meal than what we would have eaten at the festival.
