Aces Restaurant & Bar

Small town restaurant striving to be upscale but falling short. I got salmon with loaded baked potato and onion rings. The salmon lacked seasoning and the potato was cold in the center. Not a fan of mozzarella on my potato. Also NO CHIVES OR GREEN ONION! The onion rings were almost burnt and greasy. Here's the kicker...only 2 wait persons and NO BARTENDER! Each server had to make their own drinks. Way too many tables for only 2 servers. Huge backlog in the kitchen and customers enduring a long wait for food and drinks! Can't imagine why all the 5 star ratings, must be friends and relatives. I will definitely return at least one more time hoping for a better experience.

Great service! Get the lavender cocktail. Food was awesome too! 85 characters is too much to write.

Always recommend this local establishment. The menu is limited but everything they cook is cooked with an extreme level of talent! Run by a married couple, they put their heart and soul into their work. The bourbon sauce is awesome! There is nothing that isn't excellent.

We routinely order takeout from here for the office. The food is amazing and the orders are always correct. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

I love going to Aces. The food is always good and the service is always great. They have a a decent beer selection as well. I only wish they were open more days of the week. I'll be back.

I was recently at a Christmas party at this establishment and it was such a great experience. It wasn't a typical go in, sit down order and eat party, it was catered by Aces and the bar was open as well. They had a large veggie tray, large fruit tray, bbq meatballs that were absolutely amazing and their famous chicken sliders. The sliders were the biggest hit at the party to hear everyone talk. The chicken itself had a nice crispy and very flavorful breading on it and was sandwiched between a mini toasted bun. They had Buffalo sauce, bbq sauce and a honey mustard sauce as well as other more common condiments. Catsup, mustard, Mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles... The bar was staffed by Daniel and a couple other workers and they were outstanding in getting everyone served in a timely manner. There is a large stage area where we were able to do a few games.We were all very happy with the food and the service and hope to come back here to eat soon!

I was looking for something for lunch and being vegan there's very few choices in Washington IN, I called Aces and asked if they would make me a vegan sandwich and they offered to make me a portobella mushroom burger even though it's not on their menu. That was very kind of them. Well it's was the best portobella burger I've ever had! They should definitely add it to the menu. I can't wait to have another one when I get back to Washington. Thanks so much Aces for being so accommodating. Best customer service!

let me start by saying IF I could give 10 's I'd give 11!!! We made reservations at 6pm for 7:30 lastnight!! arrived @ 7:12 and was allowed to choose our table immediately upon walking in! (which we loved) its was about 60seconds before (Hailey) our server greeted us!! we attempted to place our adult beverage order but was informed they didn't have an ingredient needed to make a mudslide but IF I was willing to try his improv then ..... let me say, I ordered 4 total! The food was scrumdiddlyumsious!!! The bartender/owner delivered a round to our table and the interaction was top tier!! We wasn't lucky enough to witness the magic show but we will be back to partake!! Thank you for being!!

Food was good, service was pretty slow. It really was just ok. Seems like it would be a good place to go if they have some live music or something going on.
