Acapulco Grill

I really liked the location and would love to come back and dine outside in warmer weather. However, I didn't find anything remarkable about Acapulco Grill. Food was average Mexican food but prices were a bit high, IMO. Service could've been better - ordered cheese dip and ran out of chips with no refill and didn't receive enough silverware - but it wasn't terrible.

Food was good and the portion size was just the right amount. Prices were extremely reasonable and the ambiance was what I would expect it to be for a Mexican restaurant. Will go back if I'm ever in town again!

Fantastic food! Great service, have been twice now while visiting LWC. Both visits they had great food, hot & served quickly! Great service & clean establishment!

This place always seems to be busy! They have really great salsa, and their food is really good. I've had fajitas a couple times, and while I know this is an odd comment to make, I wish they had more veggies and less meat. I mean, who complained about that, right? But, really, the ratio is off for my preference. Service is good, but I think they probably need another server for the amount of business they have to really keep up with drink and chips & salsa refills. I'm very sad to report that they do not serve alcohol, because what's Mexican without a nice margarita?

This place is fabulous! I'm from California and can be a bit picky. The food servers do an awesome job. Very attentive. They serve more food than you can eat on your plate. The food itself is high quality. The prices are amazing. The ribeye was tender and tasty. Amongst the best I've ever had. The potato was thoroughly cooked. The broccoli was amongst the best I've had! It's easy to give these people a five star! Come and try it you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Nice Mexican place in the Columbia square. I ordered beef fajitas and the veggies and meat were nicely cooked, not too greasy and it was tasty. The second plate of beans and rice with lettuce, sour cream and guacamole was ok. The guacamole was darker greenish brown like it had been sitting out for a while. The rest of the food was pretty fresh though. The servers weren't that friendly. All in all it was good food but the service could use some refining.

Ambiance is true authentic, the tables & chairs, the pictures, and Mexican Sombreros. I asked the owner for her signature dish. While I waited for my food, the chips and salsa were homemade very delicious. As I looked around, you could tell the locals from the tourist. You can tell everyone loves their job, nothing but smiles, and no screaming order's. When the food arrives, the smell of the spices just embodies a natural element. Earthy, smoky, and firey onions,garlic, spices, makes your mouth water. Fish, steak, white cheese, and shrimp come on the firey side. Rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheese, and shredded lettuce. Delicious homemade corn tortillas, you are making a party in your mouth. I was so hungry and very happy that I was in heaven. I have eaten at some very great Mexican food places. This is by far the most awesome place.

Best Mexican food in the county. Service is fast and friendly and the food is fantastic. They are now expanding because it is such a popular place. People know where the best is. And the prices are reasonable, no crazy high. Don't miss trying them. On the square, you won't be disappointed!

Last minute reservation for 7 people, including two picky kids? On new years Eve? No sweat! Staff at Acapulco was welcoming, friendly and FAST. Food was delicious, and they kept the chips coming (which kept the kids happy). Highly recommend!

This is the first place my husband and I ate out as a married couple, so it holds a special place in our hearts! Even if it did not have such personal significance, we come back because the atmosphere and food are SO good. I personally prefer a mushroom quesadilla when I eat out at a Mexican restaurant and Acapulco's is the BEST. My husband likes to get a fresh made chunky guacamole, and they always do a great job with that and serve a generous amount. We have never chosen dishes which were not wonderful and the customer service has been reliably good. I really like the choice of music, which I am more and more particular about as the years pass. It is important to me to feel good about bringing my children into an establishment, and I never think twice about this restaurant. I enjoy our town square overall, and Acapulco has really earned its place as central in the town in my opinion.
