888 Great Wall

We were visiting our kids and grandkids in Louisville and were looking for Chinese take out. My son recommended 888 Great Wall. This restaurant used to offer dine in but since the pandemic, they are takeout only.The menu ofers plenty of choices of a variety of Chinese dishes. The portions were ample (translate that as large) particularly the soap. The hot and sour soup, in particular, was delicious.For the 6 of us (4 adults and 2 kids), we ordered a variety of meals and no one was disappointed. Everyone enjoyed their meals.Very reasonably priced.

This place has amazing food and is very efficient on making sure that your order is correct. Easy to call and they don't use MSG. I've been coming here for years and it probably reviewed before but just want to make sure to update it everything is still delicious. I hear they have a great one buffet with really cool people but I have not been there for lunch personally. We've always gotten carry out over the last 5 years and our order is always been more than enough and correct.

This place used to be my go-to a few years ago. I haven't been since COVID until last week. They no longer sell Egg Foo Young. Boo. That was my favorite. So I ordered orange chicken and the Char Siu with mushrooms. Just okay.

This is my family's go to carry out Chinese spot! Would recommend the sesame chicken and veggie lo mein! So good. Everytime we call, we head straight there because food is ready in about ten minutes and it's always hot. Staff if friendly, ample parking, and easy to order.

Great Wall has been offering the best fast Chinese food in the area for years. Since covid, there is no longer seating offered for dine in...but they ensure your food will still be hot when you get home. They will likely be busy, but it's worth waiting for; just plan ahead!

My wife's friends talked this place up so she ordered takeout after work. I guess my hopes were up, because this place missed the mark for me. The egg rolls were very doughy, the crab Rangoon was all cream cheese, and the fried dumplings for the soup were very stringy and added nothing.Our entrees were standard Americanized Chinese, which is the usual fare. Not bad, but definitely not the best. I thought the Hot and Sour soup was good, and the chicken fried rice had lots of chicken--always a plus. They loaded us up with a tonof four tune cookies, too.

Very good Chinese food and great prices. I love how close to work it is, I can foresee this being a favorite lunch spot

The person at the register was very sweet, but the food was disgusting. There wasn't a single piece of orange chicken that I could get down. All of the pieces had weird coloring, a weird texture, or just didn't taste like chicken. The sweet and sour chicken was fine, but the sauce was really weird. The place did not look nice, so it is definitely a take to go place. I would rather get panda express or mall food court chinese.

First time ordering from 888 Great Wall so we enjoyed Wonton Egg Drop Soup, Curry Jumbo Shrimp w/onions, and Chicken w/Garlic Sauce. The food was good, colorful, fresh, plentiful, and has a little too much MSG for my taste. Service was excellent, prices are great however, wasn't much in the line of ambiance because this is a take-out place.
