On Valentine's Day, I started my birthday off right with breakfast!! Founder, Trey Graham, brings us 6 'N The Mornin' & they're serving up a taste of the South in the heart of the midwest. I love the classic aesthetic & throwback RnB music playing in the background! It creates such a relaxed vibe. I ordered the Florida Coast French Toast with scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, their amazing new Cajun Breakfast Potatoes, and a Peach Mimosa. Everything was delicious & full of flavor, you can tell they really cook with love here. The service was fantastic as well & I wanna give a big shoutout to Gigi! She was so attentive & took such great care of me. Thank you so much for such wonderful experience! I can't wait to go back. Cheers to another year!! 1535 Madison Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45206https://6nthemornin.com/Instagram/TikTok: @biteswithmissb

As a brunch fan and Ice T fan, i really wanted to like this restaurant. I didn't make it up to the kenwood location. So i was excited to make it down to the newer walnut hills location. But my experience was not good. We walked in the place. it had a good vibe, pretty building/ location, busy but not crowded, with a fun r&b music playing and great tvs. Feeling excited. There were open spots at the bar so my gf and i sat there. We sat there for 35 min. Three employees refused to make eye contact with us. Literally waiting on the patrons on either side of us but never looked at us, never said "morning", never said "be right with you", just ignored us. I felt like they wanted us to leave, but i really wanted to try this place. So we pressed on. Finally one of the waitress slowed down enough that i asked if they could help us. She said yes. We never saw her again . As we sat there we had a chance to notice that the bar area was a complete mess and super disorganized. And no one was bussing any of the tables. Red flags . 15 min later as a different waitress slowed down enough that i was able to ask her for two coffees snd a menu. She said "sure". Whew! I felt like we were getting somewhere. I ordered the texas toast breakfast sandwich. My gf got an order of eggs and bacon. 10 min later we received our coffees, no pleasantries, no offer waters, just our coffees. 30 min later we received our non-complex food orders. Again, no pleasentries. No "can i get you anything else". We never saw our waitress again. . The food was ok not great. Think expensive bad waffle house. I was stoked for the cheesy grits but they were cold and way more cheese than grits. As we were rounding out our brunch the manager showed up. She was a ray of sunshine. She gave us some hope that this place could be better. She is the whole reason i'm giving this place two stars vs one star. She asked how we were and if we needed anything. Where was she an hour ago. This experience could have been completely different. Anyway we told her we were ready for our check and she had it over to us in two min. When we were signing out the pos machine gave us tip options of 22%, 25%, 30%. Thats pretty confident with how terrible the service was. To sum it up this place wasn't great. To me service and cleanliness are the priority of any restaurant. Until 6 in the morning decides to prioritize those two category's i cannot recommend it to anyone. Net:Service: 1 star, terrible minus the nice manager in gray sweaterFood: 3 starsCleanliness: 2 starsBuilding/ ambiance: 5 starsAudio visual: 4 starsOverall: two stars

Looked up all day Breakfast Spots...and found this place. I liked the Ambiance...a place to meet up with friends, vibe out to some R&B, and eat some good food. The Server was nice and attentive. The food was fresh and flavorful. I went with the Shrimp and Grits and my Partner had French Toast. Everything was so good! There is one little tip of advice. If you're not so big on Seasoning...order the sauce for the Shrimp and Grits on the side to add to your liking. We will definitely return!

Me oh my, there's a great new breakfast spot in town. Just stopped in for breakfast with friends, and this place is a winner. New to the neighborhood in an old bank, 6 is serving up Southern-themed and named breakfast delights. Check out the photos of the menu and you'll see what I mean.I first ordered the shrimp and grits, but decided to send it back because while the shrimp were plentiful and the sauce was decadent, the texture of the grits seemed a little off (like a cross between polenta and mashed potatoes). I just couldn't get with it. However...My waitress took ONE look at my face after checking in on the table, realized I was unhappy, and whisked that plate away while promising to bring me something better. DID. SHE. EVER.Y'all ain't ready for that red velvet chicken and waffles. You're just not. When I tell you there's crack in the chicken...there's crack in the chicken. They're in the back seasoning everything, not just the chicken. I'm talkin' 'bout the FLOUR, the OIL, the skillet itself is damn seasoned. And these fluffy waffles?! Chile. With this cream cheese drizzle? Stop. Seriously, the crunch on this chicken is special, and I'm determined to come back just to see what else they can do with a damn chicken. Y'all make chicken feet? I'm down. The owners have taken a dated, gutted-out bank and transformed it into a bright, airy, welcoming restaurant with shotgun-style seating area and a truly lovely bar. There are great little design touches from the front door to the back of the house. Truly, the decor is very mindful, very demure. The staff is young, attractive, and clearly learning how to be/stay professional while at work. I hate going places where employees can't be bothered to stop having private conversations between themselves when there are customers. Not at 6! I walked through the front door and there were 3 servers standing at the hostess stand. As SOON as they saw me, they all stopped talking. Two just smiled and walked away and the third looked me in the eye and welcomed me. The young lady moved with a sense of urgency, one of those we-don't-make-customers-wait kind of urgency, and I was seated within 60 seconds. Great location, great servers, and even better menu options. Seriously, the only reason this place got a 4 and not a 5 is the grits. Every single plate that came from the kitchen LOOKED great, but me knowing what those grits do (or didn't do such as the case may be) was the deciding factor here. If, however, you're a chicken and (red velvet) waffle fiend, this is your new favorite spot. Just trust me.

The restaurant is set in the lively heart on East Walnut Hills. This food is unbelievable. Each bite is better than the next. Everything is seasoned perfectly. My breakfast bowl with cheesy grits, sausage, custom eggs were to-die-for good. My husband had potatoes so good...you'll slap your mama. The omelette...never had better. The owner ,Trey, is on to something with his southern style approach to breakfast. Jamarco, thank you for the excellent service. Thank you for such a warm welcome and extremely delicious breakfast!!!

Gave the restaurant another try and I am glad that I did. This time it wasn't as crowded and I was about to grab a seat at the bar to order my food. Staff and the owner are really nice and the restaurant was playing good music that just makes you want to do karaoke as soon as you walk in. I had the turkey burger and a pitcher of the blueberry mimosas and it did not disappoint!

The service was prompt and friendly. We ordered a mimosa tower and they were kind enough to bring us multiple flavoring options. For food we ordered the Florida coast french toast, lafayette omelette, blt, avocado toast, and cheesy grits. The food came out quickly and was delicious! I highly recommend the flavor-packed breakfast potatoes, the scrambled eggs, and the grits. The only complaint from our group was that there was no longer a dj during saturday brunch. We were told about this fun experience and looking forward to enjoying it - i hopw they bring it back soon

Was lucky enough to try out this brunch spot without a wait on a Sunday (probably helped that there was a Bengals game going on but they had huge screens with the game playing so didn't miss much)! The interior is very grand with high ceilings and pretty decor. They provide complimentary waffle fries that are seasoned like French toast. I'm glad they did because the time between ordering and receiving our food was on the longer end and it seems like slower service is pretty common here. Food was good though - the chicken actually has a great spice kick to it and the potatoes that came with the French toast were flavorful. Several of the menu items sounded delicious and I would be down to come back and try some new things!

I tired a few things on the menu, the Memphis soul bowl, red velvet waffle, & the potatoes, everything was very good. The potatoes was very flavorful. The food came out quickly & was hot & fresh. My server was kind & attentive. The cocktails are delicious as well. This restaurant is nicely decorated inside & clean.
