3rd Street Saloon

First things first since this wasn't clear to us - this IS family friendly in the early evening. I'm not sure when the cutoff is that it becomes 21+ only, but we went in with our young kids a little before 6pm and they were ready for us with a booster seat and they have a kids menu. (Got a few looks from customers, but staff was happy to see us!) You basically are still sitting in the bar, they just have a rope "separating" the bar area.This place is quite the gem and I was really impressed. Very generous portions, delicious food, and incredible service. I highly recommend the Grippo-crusted pork tenderloin, especially if you're not native to Grippo's country. Absolutely incredible. The mac and cheese is fantastic - tons of cheese and big spiral noodles, not the cheap Kraft kind you make from a box.Really looking forward to stopping in here again. Great addition to the town square!

Service was great! Sad to say, he food has gone downhill. Nothingness fresh anymore...they have obviously switched a lot to frozen foods. The appetizer platter was a total disappointment. I miss the fresh mozzarella stack. Now they have plain old cheese sticks that you can buy at the grocery.

My family went and the server brought out their food and it was cold. They asked for it to be warmed up and she was rude about it. My grandparents paid in cash and three people counted it out. The server then came back 5 minutes after they paid and said they shorted her when they didn't.
