The vibe on this street alone will get you to walk in. You walk into a beautiful bakery where they are making fresh bread and baked goods. I saw a wonderful setting in the space for nice chairs and visible baked goods and such. I love that you can see them making the goods while you are there. The only complaint would be the staff was a bit uptight and tense when taking orders and I noticed that with mine and others who were ordering. I ordered an Almond Milk Latte and Lingonberry Almond Cake + Chocolate Stem cookie. The latte was well done and velvety in texture. It was not burnt at all and was a smooth sip. The lingonberry cake is a must - it was very unique with a bit of tartness and crummy texture that was a bit sweet but paired well. The chocolate stem cookie was nice and crunchy on the outside yet gooey on the inside side and they did not hold back on the chocolate chips. Overall, a great experience and look forward to coming back soon.

Came in just after 2pm and there was still a wide selection of pastries and sweets available for purchase! The lingonberry almond cake was to die for!! The jam layer towards the bottom of the cake really elevated the flavors. I had never tried one of these before, but I was thoroughly impressed! If you like almond croissants, you'll love the almond cake. I also tried the cardamom croissant and was disappointed. The pastry was dry and lacking complexity in flavor, but I think it was just an off batch?? Lovely shaded patio out front with about 4-5 tables. Every chicago native i talk to has great things to say about this place, and I'd agree! Looking forward to coming back in the future.

I've never been to a Swedish bakery before, and I really enjoyed it! I would go back for the lingonberry almond cake.I went at 11:30 am on a Saturday and it was packed, lines were to the door and some pastries were already sold out.Grabbed a cardamom bun, a lingonberry almond cake, and a tebirkes (kind of a poppyseed croissant with almond filling). The cardamom bun and the tebirkes were tasty - I'm not the biggest pastry fan, and they were fun to try but I wouldn't get them again. The lingonberry almond cake, though... amazing! I have half a mind to try and buy some lingonberry jam to try and recreate the flavor. Worth visiting for that alone.I'm told they have saffron buns for St. Lucia day in December, and I am very excited to go back for those... and more lingonberry almond cake!

The plain croissant is so good and the tebirkes with almond is a definite favorite. Unfortunately the afternoon bun was raw in the middle and the cardamom bun was a little too crisp and crunchy for my taste. The staff is not the friendliest. A little dismissive and seemed annoyed with questions. But the backyard patio is a gem of a space. Food/patio ****Staff ***

A bright & airy space in Andersonville to enjoy a bountiful array of fresh pastries. My friend and I loved the orange cardamom bun and the smoked salmon open faced sandwich. Coffee is tasty, too. We will be back to try more offerings and enjoy the ambience (I enjoy this location's cute cafe enviros over the other location).

Sunday carbs don't count Checked out @lostlarson yesterday as the first stop in our collab adventures with @cassidyeatscarbs and it was a great first stop while in Andersonville! Pictured were the spinach and feta danish, tebirkes, cinnamon roll, & lingonberry almond mini cake all the baked goods were very delicious and honestly excited to go back and try some more items they have so much to choose from but go early when they open, it was already getting so crowded when we showed up! The ambiance was cute definitely could sit inside and do your work while you eat and the service was fine.

Easily one of the best almond croissants in the city. Their drip coffee was only $3, too, which was great. They have a back patio, which makes for ample seating, even during the busy times.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon around 2, the selection was minimal, yet it was very busy inside. I wanted cake, but they only had some chocolate croissants, cinnamon rolls, and a few other things. We got a croissant and a cinnamon roll, I didn't find the person behind the counter to be friendly, I'm not even sure if she spoke any words. We asked if there happened to be any cake left, and she just nodded her head no. We also got a coffee, which was decent. The chocolate croissant had a very mild flavor, it was very flakey, though. The cinnamon roll was just ok. Not much cinnamon flavor, in my opinion. This was a disappointment. As I was excited to try this bakery, it had been bookmarked on Yelp to check out.

Strolled in this morning in search for coffee and a pastry and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered a few different pastries today and can state that all of them are delicious! Great coffee too! I think the store layout could be improved, feels a bit strange waiting for coffee in the front of the store and people coming in think you're in line the order. Outside of that enjoyed everything else about the experience
