This place is great! It was a recommendation by my barber, and listen to your barber because he knows what's up. I drive past it every day but never stopped. That was a huge mistake because it's fantastic! Service was super quick, food was hot and delicious, chips and salsa are amazing, literally no complaints! We went on a Sunday and they had 2 for 1 margaritas which was a welcome surprise :) They don't seem to have standardized glassware so sometimes you get a bigger glass than other times. Really good margarita though!Parking is tricky, I think they have about twice as many spots painted as the space will allow which results in a free for all. Just be considerate of the other cars and it will be fine.Try this place out. We usually go to Los Compadres on the other end of 109, and I still love it but we will definitely be back here!

Every so often, a place you truly liked changes, often not for the better. Menus are revised. Staff rotate. Supervision flags. For whatever reason, I'm adding this review to warn that my first review was true for a time past. Los Toritos is no longer the four-star quaint experience it once was.I didn't do this lightly. Three times in more than one way they have disappointed me. Both food and service have disappointed.They still have those wonderful delicately thin chip, but twice their quesadilla tortilla has been limp with oil or grease. How? Why? I do not know. We had one of three come out just fine. Were the other two floated on an oily grill? Whatever the reason, I'm not willing to risk it again. Oh, BTW, these two experiences were not at a single sitting. If you are getting a meaty dish where crispiness isn't expected, the meal will be fine; ours was for those dishes, but caveat emptor. You've been warned.The second reason I'm lowering their rating is service. Oh, it was timely, BUT...I ordered a chicken dish that included chorizo. Chorizo is a big flavor. No chorizo, it's a different dish. The plate came with no chorizo. Plate delivered and the waiter left us to eat. Next time he was near, I asked about the chorizo. He said, "We have no chorizo right now." Really? Now, I don't know about you, but if there is to be a major change to a dish, I expect to be consulted before it's delivered. The waiter was nonchalant about this, a sign to me that he didn't consider it a big deal. Well, you make your own judgement. I'm just reporting what happened.If I ever go back to this place, it will be for some juicy dish and I will ask about any ingredient I am serious about at the time of ordering.

This was a terrific place for dinner on our first night in town.You have to be sharp looking for this place as you approach in your car if you haven't been here before. If you blink you'll probably miss it as it sits in a rather nondescript manner on the side of the road.Finding a good Mexican restaurant is easy if you know what to look for. If it's staffed exclusively by people from Mexico your chances are better than average that you'll enjoy your dinner. Such is the case here. The staff was wonderful the entire time we were there, checking on us often and always with a friendly smile.The food is very reasonably priced, and there's lots of it. My wife ordered the steak fajitas, and my kids each had tacos. I went with the chicken and cheese over rice. All of it was terrific! I was shocked that we received not one but two baskets of chips when we sat down. The chips had that wonderful greasy feeling that comes from using the right amount of oil. Our bill for four people came to under $70, easily the best value we've had this week.I would certainly come back!

Los Tortitos has been a staple of my Covid-19 takeout arsenal. Great for fulfilling any Mexican food craving. Easy to order through the Yelp app and the food is ready and waiting at the time listed.There are many fooods we like, last night was fajita night. The fajita Toro is a favorite. I highly recommend anything wiht their housemade chorizo.

This establishment was phenomenal right off the bat. We walked in and immediately treated with warmth, acceptance, and over joyous amount of chips and salsa. The drinks were perfect amount of tart and alcohol. The food was quick and hot. Our favorites were queso, chicken-rice and cheese, fajitas, and the tacos ranchos (so fresh!!). The house hot sauce was a standout!! Service was impeccable. They were attentive and anticipated our every need. The ambiance was inviting and authentic! I would show pictures, but everyone cleaned their plates!! If more stars were available, I would give them. Favorite Mexican restaurant as of late!

Fresh super thin chips with zesty salsa on the table seconds after we were seated. Service was enthusiastic and friendly. The vibe is country in an old small log cabin. I had grilled chicken quesadilla. Husband had burrito parrillada. Our dishes came out quickly and hot. Portions were filling. House margarita citrus with agave not too sweet.
