Came to this place on a whim and I regret the decision , menu is vast and maybe it's what I ordered only, based on other reviews this should of been a good place to go but second time reviews have let me down I got the carne asada fries to make it quick, 20 minutes later they arrived (mind you I was the only one on her at the time so unsure of the delay there but, presentation is great but other than that i would highly NOT recommend going here The fries tasted like fish as they are apparently cooked together and I could go on but it's not needed

I'll be honest, the burrito was pretty but not the most flavorful, I believe the sauce was the primary issue. I didn't dislike it but wasn't stoked. My water was also refilled fairly infrequently despite me being the only person dining in. I would have preferred to be able to refill my water from a soda station or have had the waitress put the pitcher on my table because, to her credit, I do guzzle water. Again, the food wasn't bad, but it wasn't phenomenal either and I fully acknowledge that it could've been what I'd ordered.

Ya know what, I could probably eat tacos and bean & cheese burritos every night for the rest of my life and be super happy with all my life decisions. They make everything better. I wanted to try a new spot and Los Taco Chefs has been on my "To Taste List" for a bit. I definitely should have hit this a long time ago, it's great!If you're dinning in, you take a table and they come out and get your order. I got a bean and cheese burrito, chicken taco and a Al Pastor taco along with chips and salsa. The bean to cheese ratio was perfect and the consistency was to my liking. The corn tortillas for the tacos are made fresh and delicious! The salsas were...ugh....good gawd the favor was sooo incredible! They could have been hotter for sure, but still, I drank both of them!My friend got the chilaquiles with a medium horchata and love them. On a scale of 1 - 10....I'll take it on a second date...might move in next week...we can get a dog, we can name it "Tamale"

Was craving a breakfast burrito and didn't want to make my own or drive across town to my goto spot. So I hit the Yelp app and found Los Tacos Chefs so off I went.I am not sure how long they have been opened but man why haven't I been sooner? I know I went because I was craving a breakfast burrito, but everything on the menu looked good. I almost changed my mind and went with an order of chilaquiles.I ordered an egg, potato and cheese burrito with jalapenos added inside. This burrito was packed and jalapenos fresh! The burrito itself was huge! It was just what I was craving! So good! Service was great and friendly. The place is super clean and inviting. I already know I will be back to try the Birria Ramen and Sopes plate! Glad to have given Los Taco Chefs a try and look forward to coming back!

This is my favorite spot for a waffle! I also love the fried shrimp plate. This husband and wife duo make some of the best frescas. My favorite is limon and pina colada. Service is fast and always friendly. I love the decor! Plenty of table seating

Both of us gave it 4.8 stars Excellent food- tacos and burrito! Generous portion of meat in the tacos and Burrito.Took extra care in packaging everything nice and neat in the bag we needed to go- so nice!! We are looking forward to going back and trying enchiladas!!Priced right! We took out, but it looks very quaint and clean!

Best word to describe this restaurant is average. Everything that I had was average even the salsa was average. The only non average thing that I would get again was the horchata. The place looks like authentic but the food did not match the settings.

The BEST Tacos in Mesa!Been to all of the ***biertos and Backyard joints. Best value and service where the chef is really there to greet you. Not another "me-too" Mexican eaterie. Owner and family brings years of experience that shines. Tons of other goodies on the menu. Super Clean and super nice folks. Gotta git me some Los Tacos. . . . and more.
