Los Primos Mexican Food

I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews. Primos is a wonderful restaurants and I really enjoy it. The monster burritos and absolutely massive and usually can last 2 meals if you were really looking to extend the meal. Everyday there are different discounts for the date and I went on a Monday meaning that there was a discount on the Monster burritos. I got the hot cheeto burrito and it was a great meal. Also, the chips at this restaurant are completely free with your purchase. The service is amazing and I really enjoy it. Overall, I would highly recommend going to Primos and getting food. It is a great experience and the service/food experience is wonderful

I ordered a Carne Asada burrito but was pretty surprised/disappointed. It was basically a bean and cheese burrito with a few peaces of meat. I was shocked hahaI cut it in half because the burrito felt "soft" but it was because of all the beans it had, NOT meat. It was disappointing because the meat actually tasted pretty flavorful. Im curious what it would look like if i asked them to hold the beans on the side.... not sure if i will be going back.

Ok I can understand why all the bad reviews, but I gotta judge based only on my experience... I went in on a Monday when they had a deal for Monster burritos at $3 off - which was pretty nice.The burrito I think was $19 regular price, but when they say monster burrito, it's no joke... Monster burritos can feed 3 people, and they've got chips and salsa complimentary as well. The chips are warm and delicious and salsa is what'd you'd expect at any Mexican place.As for the burrito, we ordered one of the adobada, carnitas, and I think bacon ones. It was very good and juicy, but probably not the best in the world. But the value here was insane... I had asked them to cut in into 3 pieces and they happily did that and served us on seperate plates. This is definitely the place to come in for an inexpensive meal and maybe even some drinks with some friends, or for a college student at UCSD to stock up on 2-3 meals in one burrito .

Still garbage. Ordered a Cali burrito and my French fries weren't fully cooked.They have an interesting drink menu I'd be willing to try though since it's the only spot locally for cocktails.

They gave me raw fish tacos. I'm not sure if they put them in from being frozen. I noticed the breading looked a lil light color & the food paper plate was not warm. I took a bite & the inside looked not quite right. So I opened both & they were raw/cold/wet insideBoth fish pieces were undercookedThe male mgr refunded me. I should've taken back the tip too.I won't come back again. Very disappointed b/c that was supposed to be a late lunch & I hope I don't get sick from the bite I did take.I never had probs in the past, but now I'm not taking any future risks

Solid 4 out of 5 for taste - and happy hour margaritas all day Wednesday and Sunday. Came here on Sunday midday for a Cali breakfast burrito, and a happy hour margarita. Hit the spot. The Cali burrito purposely has fries in it, they were cooked well, there wasn't as much meat as I might've liked, hence the four stars instead of five, but I did order the burrito with french fries, so I guess that was to be expected as a filler. The margarita was on point and exactly what I needed. Also pretty large. this is the kind of place I return to for flavorful, but maybe a little bit unhealthy burrito. The happy hour prices and options on the drink menu are great even not in happy hour. Sure, there's been negative reviews, but we are satisfied!

Convenient location and open late.Prices have crept up in the last few years, but deals like the wednesday special on baja tacos keep things cheap and tasty. Shoutout to Rene for bringing enthusiastic and positive vibes. Service like that makes late night Primos worth coming back to.

Love Alex and all the hospitality at primos!! Go every Wednesday and always get the Baja tacos to go!

I have eaten at this place several times and today I was on a lunch break because I work next door and I place my order paid for my order and then a bunch of people came in and the lady behind the counter started making their food and just ignored my food even though I was ahead of them to top it off she brought me my food in a bag even though I ordered it for here and when I open it up it was just a chicken taco and the chicken was missing and the Supreme part was missing so I asked for a refund and she said she can't do a refund because her boss isn't there and she doesn't know when he's going to come back so be wary of this place they clearly don't have any consideration for their customers I will never go back and I hope I get my money back if not I'm going to dispute it with my bank

It had been 4 years since I had been to a Los Primos and this one did not fail in bringing back all of the memories. The food was plentiful and delicious!My only negatives is that the tables needed to be cleaned for those of us that wanted to dine in and the prices were way more than we expected! I knew prices had gone up since we left - but this was crazy!
