I saw the review about how the new cashiers act and didn't believe it,BUT wow no customer service and the other one that was "mopping" didn't say anything no greeting no nothing and only greets customers with someone who looks like the main boss was standing there for a brief minute. Based on service alone I won't come here again

The one on 3rd by Main Street is definitely 10 times better, I should have driven all the way to Chula Vista. The salsa roja is different the chips here in national city were probably from a bag and not fresh chips. They kinda looked old tasted hard like churritos masa. They charged me for extra cheese and as you can tell it's way less portion here than Chula Vista. I paid $21 dollars in national city for my chips and a drink and in Chula Vista I pay $15.65 or something like that. So overall my experience here was not as great as Chula Vista. The place is definitely clean but I gave them two stars. For portion and chips taste I left plenty of chips because they had no cheese

First of all I ordered the carnitas tacos and I got these big chunks of meat that were nothing like the carnitas tacos are supposed to be. aren't they supposed to be shredded and very tender? These were big bricks of very dry meat. I nearly choked on it because it was so big and dry.

The food is as good as it was in the 80s. That hasn't changed. The meat inside the rolled tacos are still a mystery but I let that sort of thing slide when I'm visiting my hometown. Yeah the service could be better and more punctual but hey...This is Los Panchos. You don't come here for a Michelin Star experience.What's good here and never disappoints are: the 5 rolled tacos with green goop (guac) and the carne asada burrito. Anything else you get at your own risk. I hear the quesadillas are pretty good too.Overall:Its my comfort food that I hope never changes...Its a damn shame that the only thing that has changed is the price! Damn that inflation!!!

Mi burrito de "machaca" repleto de una sustancia líquida desconocida. El menú dice que es machaca acompañado de frijoles y queso. Este burrito de frijoles contenía media cucharada de machaca y para complementar, un poco de cascarones de huevo. Entiendo que esta cara la carne, pero al pagar $12 por frijoles y cascarones de huevo, uno se siente estafado. Mi error fue ordenar de este lugar sabiendo que ya me han fallado. El error más grande fue intentar consumir este burrito. Espero que el establecimiento le preste un poco de atención a la calidad de la comida. Ahórrate el tiempo, dinero, un malestar estomacal y mejor cocina en casa.

Love this place pero los sábados cierran a las 12am o a las 11:40am porque trate de llegar a las 11:37 y estaban en la puerta negando entrada. Esta bien pero entonces especifiquen que se cierra a las 11:40pm y no a las 12am.

Would not recommend ordering the breakfast burrito at this location. Tasteless and overwhelming amount of beans added to the burrito. POOR customer service. Cashier with short blond hair was rude and gave an idgaf attitude.

Visited this place, ordered a bitchin Cali burrito--and it was huge, fresh and yummy! The place was clean, not many people since it was around 1030am. My food came fast, warm, and the workers were pleasant to talk to. Gave them 3 stars because it didn't have enough shrimp--but plenty of fries--and I paid almost $20; with a regular soda. Used the bathroom on my way out, too much tagging and I know people don't respect anything but maybe .. try to remove some of the tagging. It's just a bit intimidating to use a bathroom that looks like this. Bathroom was clean!!

Do not come here the food is bad and the service was horrible I asked for roll tacos and they gave me this how the hell do you add 3 garlics crazy never coming back .

The food never fails to impress me it's honestly just one of the best places there. The service is above expectation in my book with nice greetings. Overall recommend.
