There are so many Los Pancho's Taco Shops in San Diego, but this location at Terra Nova Plaza in Chula Vista is our personal favorite. We've been coming to this location for many MANY years and the food and service has always been great. Karina at the register is always friendly and remembers what I like in my order when my husband forgets my add-ins like avocado for my menudo and type of tortillas I like with it. The food is always consistent and our favorites have been the following:Caldo de res (beef soup) 5/5Menudo 5/5California burrito 5/5O.M.G. Burrito (bacon,sausage,ham,potatoes, egg) so good 5/5Chorizo con huevo plate 5/5Check it out when in the area. Happy Yelping!

Good food with ample selection of traditional Mexican food. Reasonable price. Good service.Convenient location for me.

What is the deal with using huge chunks of potatoes in the breakfast burrito? I got a potato and bacon burrito with barely any egg. All I taste is potato. I'm so tired of eating out and getting food that feels like no effort was put into it. I have zero tolerance especially when the prices are this high. Needless to say I'm never coming back.Service is fine and atmosphere is fine.

I'm Mexican, this is the best Mexican food I've had in San Diego. The difference is the ingredients. Quality ingredients, made fresh.

Had dinner with my girlfriend and in the middle of it. Starting to get little black visitors flying in to our food. My girlfriend explains the issue with the owners son and instead of resolving to issue, he said "we had no complaints yet". So we left without finishing our dinner. I will never go back there again

Having eaten at this Los Panchos location or picking up food there on a few occasions, of course it's come time to put together another REV-view of what tends to me to be a pretty good step above fast food Mexican food outlet. Actually, I was introduced to Los Panchos a couple of years ago at monthly Saturday Men's Breakfasts at my church. I took the visit there and each time, have found their food quite satisfying. My favorite (at this time) is the speciality burrito LA surf & turf. I look at this burrito as comparable to the Philly steak a cheese without the shrimp and rice. It does have mushrooms, lots of cheese, and a nice sauce. It is big - it lasts two meals for me, which makes it a better value. I will say they don't skimp on the items either. I had plenty of shrimp and asada in my burrito. The shrimps were large and cleaned out well. I took the meal home to eat this time around. I was very happy with the service too. Los Panchos has such a large menu and I wanted to try something different today. I was overwhelmed by the choices so I just stuck to may favorite. I've had their loaded nachos in the past and they are excellent too. I did order a side of refried beans on this round. I will say that this location, though the food is generally really good, the appearance of the interior could use some attention. The floor looks old and has an appearance that it hasn't been mopped but it is regularly. There also often seems to be an odor of cleaning detergent here too. It's not overwhelming and I don't think these drawbacks keep people away. Yes, I'm generous perhaps on my scoring, but I think the many people know this is a solid Mexican restaurant to eat in more so than worrying about an old floor. If you're in this mall area and want a good shop to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner in - this Los Panchos will do well by you!Recommend: HIGH

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town. Only because of the food. The food is very good! It is a little pricey. I suggest paying with cash then you don't pay extra fees. That's the only downside. It also can be very loud inside so if you don't like loud music sit outside or far dining side. Even with all of that I still like the food so I keep coming back.

Los Panchos en Terranova es lo mejor en comida Mexicana y con servicio rápido en caliente Fin de semana ***+Menudo. ***Fajitas de pollo, *+*Quesadilla Bélica, +*+tacos dorados y *Carne Asada Fríes **el place esta clean. Buen servicio.

Gone here multiple times.Wait is about ~7 minutes.The staff is nice, the manager is too.VERY NICE atmosphere, quite cozy, music is a bit loud.Problem is, they've got some slighly overcooked steak, and NACHO CHEESE??? Infinite sauce refills is nice though.
