ALAVERGA GUEY!!! The tamales are badass! I'm coming back for sure. The other places in the Seattle area are nowhere near as good.

Tamales. Large selection and varieties. All good to excellent. Come early if you want those banana leaf wrapped ones, which you should.

Love the tamales. I send the son n law all the time to get a couple dozen for home great to reheat in microwave . Here is my trick for that just sprinkle water on them so they dont dry out in microwave. Also take to parties and everyone always asks where did you get these. Its my go to place also to get meat to make carne asada.

Didn't get to buy anything because I was in a hurry! And as most people Seattle-area, highly distrustful people with "giving you the evil eye" even if you are speaking Spanish... I was obviously NOT from there... The shop is stocked brim with all things Mexican and Central American, and angels sing when you eyeball huge bags of FRIED PORK SKIN! Hot foods to go, nieves, tres leches, tamales... your fancy. Cases of mexican pan dulce in all delightful colors! When in town again, I will go back and BUY and taste and eat and let myself go in the colors, smells and taste of it all! Great find!

How have I never been here before?? If you grew up in a Mexican household, this place will give you all the memory lane feels! You name it, they've got it! Mangonada craving? $7 and they'll whip one right up! Tosti locos on your mind? They've got them here +++ Taki Locos, which I have yet to try but can not wait to! Tres leches by the slice, or by the whole cake! Elotes, fresas con crema, etc. If you have no idea what any of the above is, you haven't lived! Take the plunge and order some of the above so you can taste a bit of deliciousness! The store is stocked full with lots of staple items. Perfect location if you're planning a party and want some unique goodies for a piñata or goodie bags!

The most humble and amazing tamales place. Very cool market with bread, drinks salsa, grocery and super tasty yummy tamales. I don't speak Spanish but the cashier was super friendly and we use our body to break the language barrier. It was great. I can by on Tue to grab a couple tamales and check it out. I have to come back again today (in 2 days) to buy more. It was worth the drive. Will be back again.

I love their tamales! We particularly favor their pork tamales with the red sauce, but their chicken ones are excellent too. This is the first time that we had their in house sauce. I wish this had a label so I would know what it was called, but it was like a creamy chipotle sauce whose heat snuck up in the aftertaste. What an awesome local business-we love their food and expanding our palettes to foods we don't normally eat.

Aisles are crammed full of pallets of food. Couldn't walk down the aisle to get the items I needed. I bought two others things anyway. One of the two was so stale! The coated peanuts almost broke my teeth.

$6.49 for milk? And 6.99 for coffee mate? Wow everything is overpriced. And like always they don't mark the price on items. Very abusive prices.
