Los Cucos Mexican Cafe

Decided to go here last minute since we were in the area and wanted Mexican food. This was the closest Mexican restaurant to where we were so we decided to give it a chance and I surely regret it. Service was okay, we didn't wait to be seated and didn't wait long to be served. I ordered the watermelon Rita which was very watered down. I was basically drinking a slushie. I ordered the chicken stuffed avocado which wasn't bad but could have been better, there was hardly any chicken in the avocado. The best thing on my plate was the tortilla soup and the rice. I like that the tortilla soup was vegetable so it's a good vegetarian option. Overall, everything was pretty underwhelming.

This was a vibrant and authentic Mexican vibe. The staff was super attentive and humorous. The food was amazing and large portions. We loved it here!

The service here is excellent! We came in with a huge party of 25. The servers worked hard. The food is great. I had the stuffed avocado with chicken. The dish comes with beef fajita soft taco and tortilla soup. A great variety of food in one meal. The tortilla soup is delicious and has a ton of veggies!

Great authentic Mexican Flavors. Had to come back. This time I brought my family (visiting from Pennsylvania ). As usual, did not disappoint!!. Our waitress was very nice as well.

I called in a carryout order at this location on a busy weekend night. The employee who took my order was friendly. She repeated my order back to me and confirmed the location twice as there is another location off 290. The parking lot was extremely busy when I arrived. Parking here is difficult on the weekends, the lot is shared with another restaurant in the corner and lots of small businesses.The hostess was busy seating guests when I arrived but made eye contact with me and helped me as soon as she could. I had asked for a separate bag for one of my items and the hostess repackaged it separately for me.I ordered the queso, shrimp avocado and chicken quesadillas. I was given plenty of chips and salsa to go which was refreshing. Most restaurants do not provide those complimentary for togo orders.The portions were great for the price, my entree also came with soup. I probably would not order the queso again though, it didn't have much flavor and just tasted like melted cheese.

The food was good but the service was ok but the took long for food and added a extra tip and I didn't know. But other than that it was a good place to

Tasty Tex-Mex classics! I always get an enchilada plate and my husband gets the stuffed avocado plate. Their queso with flour tortilla chips is amaaazing. Nice servers, too. We don't care for the live music as it's always really loud.

Food was very good, the service was the worst ever!!! We sat at the bar thinking it would be the best service but no it was horrible. No one ever asked us how we were doing and refilled anything. We will never go back!

The food is really delicious high-quality Mexican food all the right spices and flavors. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant around town.

Posting updated HAPPY HOUR &LUNCH MENUS since I only saw some from over 3 years ago! Service was great at lunch &food was fresh&excellent! Ask for the Habanero salsa if you like spicy stuff! A+ haven't seen an updated review here in a while,it's gotten a lot better.
