We went here today because when we googled it, they said they had a buffet. They DO NOT. No big deal. We decided to stay and eat anyway. Bad decision. I get a little concerned when the server doesn't write down our order, which she did not write our order down. My wife ordered Jalisco Fajitas with no onions and they brought her Nachos with onions. I ordered a burrito, a cheese Enchilada and a Chile Relleno. They brought me 2 Enchiladas and a taco. They took it and brought me back what I ordered. All 3 items had the same tasteless sauce. Every time I get an Enchilada it comes with Enchilada Sauce. Not Red Sauce. I wouldn't recommend this place. The food isn't worth the price you pay and it didn't taste very good. I didn't take pictures of the food because I was just ready to leave at that point. No Bueno !! The staff weren't very friendly just to top it off.

Went to eat a this place as we are staying nearby. The staff was friendly and quick to assist. We ordered drinka first. We got the drinks first. We got horchatas, pineapple juice and mango. The horchatas were a little on the cinnamon side, the pineapple juice was a little sour but still tasty and the mango tasted a bit bitter but still good enough to finish. The food ordered was 3 beef tacos were good, a breaded chicken dish (no picture) and suizas enchiladas. I had gotten the enchiladas and was a little disappointed because they weren't crunchy enchiladas but soft tortillas which were warmedand wrapping the cheese. The taste was good and i was not expecting a pepper Jack cheese on top. Overall the place and food were decent and I wouldn't have a problem eating there again.

It's been five years - maybe it has improved...You know how you buy a new bag of Cool Ranch Doritos and you can't wait to get home and eat them? You get home, but get called away for some family something or other or have to pick up the kids from soccer practice or whatever. You leave them on the kitchen counter in hopes of tearing into them when you get home. Well, you get home only to discover one of your teenagers has already beat you to them. Now, in fairness to them, they did not eat ALL of them. They leave you the broken remnants of what were originally large triangles of corn goodness. Mere fragments of what the picture on the outside of the bag shows. Well - that is reminiscent of what the fajitas here are. Mere bits and crumbs of steak and chicken that are a poor semblance of what fajitas at other restaurants are. The lunch crowd got all of the moist, juicy pieces and all you get are the Dorita crumbs at the bottom of the bag.Oh, and the prices! $20 for beef and chicken mixed - about $6 more than our usual Margarita House fajitas in Mount Juliet. For that much one would think the sizzling pan would be overflowing the edge of the pan and the salad plate would be mounds of rice and beans, but no, not even close. My wife and I generally share a dinner portion with enough left over for me to roll up a to-go wrap for tomorrow. It was all gone. Pretty much dry with a very hot skillet that burned whatever came in contact with the cast iron leaving that burn taste in your mouth. Said it once five years ago - no more and I lied. Well not this time. Bye Felicia...

Absolutely the worst restaurant I have eaten at in 20 years. The food was over cooked and I am sure not fresh. the margaritas might be the worst I have ever had.

We walked from our hotel which was next door. What a great Mexican restaurant. Happy hour on a Thursday night was until 6 PM. Margaritas on the rocks were 2.99. Awesome !!!Chips and salsa were very good. The salsa had a bit of a kick to it. We had the grilled steak, chicken and shrimp fajitas (for two). It arrived quickly and included onions and peppers. We each also received our choice of flour tortillas and a plate with lettuce, guacamole and sour cream. Great grilled taste. We enjoyed this combo very much.Fried ice cream for dessert. I love that stuff. This wasn't the best I have ever had but it never the less was a great end to a great meal. Service was friendly and helpful. We love it here in Lebanon. Patriots all around us.

This is a very hard review to write. Jennifer was our bartender and she was beyond incredible. One of the best bartenders we have had in quite a long time. She's herself deserves a million stars. However, her management/ownership do not. This business uses toast computer systems which pretty much anyone who dines out knows that it gives you three different preset options to tip, then a second line with the option of custom or no tip. As a bartender, I saw their screen on my almost $50 tab saying $0.00 for all tip options and assumed it was a glitch in the toast system. I asked the staff in order to confirm before choosing an option. THANKFULLY I did because this place is robbing their employees of their that tips. If you assume this is a glitch and still choose a button, the employee receives $0.00 per the printed receipt. When multiple staff members were asked, we tested the theory and confirmed that they were in fact tipped $0.00 no matter which button was pressed. According to management this "cannot be fixed" even though I have owned a business which used toast, I know can be fixed, and even offered to fix for their staff. This place treats their staff borderline and legally by not allowing them to be tipped properly with the computer systems they are given. An employee should not have to be inconvenienced to get the money that they worked for. And customers should not be put in a position where they have to understand a POS and agree to a custom tip amount. The point of toast and it's easy user use is to encourage higher percentages and ease of use. Sorry, but this is bullshit. Your staff deserves more.

This place is so gross. I don't even see how they call their place a Mexican place to eat. THIS is NOT Mexican food at all. I'm so disappointed in the food. All you see is white people in there eating because their food is gross. They don't know what Mexican food is and I feel bad for them because this is beyond gross. not good at all. I don't recommend this "Mexican" place to eat. Their service is good but the food is not. This is NOT authentic at all. All you white peoples saying it is , ITS NOT . Y'all don't know what authentic is. Can't believe they used nacho cheese in my quesadilla , you don't do that. I have nothing against white people but don't go talking about " Mexican food" when you don't know what you're talking about.

We love Los Compadres! The food, drinks and service are all fantastic. The only downside is a lack of close by parking. This is true for pretty much all restaurants in downtown Roanoke, though.

Sat at the bar for Happy Hour and enjoyed $2.50 12oz draft beer and some incredible "chunky" guacamole. The street tacos ( Taqueria del Pueblo) were tasty and as expected. I'm glad I didn't listen to the mixed reviews and went anyways. I'll be coming back for the happy hour while I'm in town, the bartender said it's from 3-6 and they just brought it back.
