Los Betos Mexican Food

I regret not going to this place way sooner! I have always gone across the street (fili) for my carne asada mini tacos. Tonight my husband encouraged me to try this place based off on the wonderful Yelp reviews so off I went. OMG what a difference in their carne asada mini tacos! First of all I didn't know it came in a combo meal - had rice, beans, and a drink for only $12. Came with 3 mini tacos that were bursting with filling. The one I used to get across the street only had the tortilla, meat, cilantro and onions. I always HAD to drench it with green sauce. NOT this one! This one came like a fajita filling - grilled onions with jalapeños and cilantro and I only had to use 1/2 a cup of the green sauce. I inhaled my food and enjoyed these tacos so much. Can't wait to go try their other stuff! If you're thinking about going to this place - YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!

Great food. Fast service! Just wish they had a indoor seating area. Employees are also very nice and attentive. I have been going to Los Betos for over 20 years and they have never disappointed!

Great amounts of great tasting food , burritos , enchiladas , tacos , rice , salsa will have you remembering how real family Mexican food tastes . Would be a five except ordering can be a little tough in the drive thru, it's noisy and menu should be at two spots for less waiting in line s

There's so many "beto" type Mexican food stores. This one is not very fast from where I was working, so..... Let's swing by.Obviously drive thru & take out only. The building is run down & the outside ordering location(menu/ speaker) is beat up, but enough architectural criticism. Ordered a breakfast burrito(all include egg, cheese) sausage & potato. The burrito was very tasty with "hot" sauce(not hot) & a very good size.The only reason 4 star is it's a little pricey ($7.80)

I've been to nearly every Filiberto's and their derivatives and knockoffs north of Tempe. There's one thing that makes Los Betos different and significantly better: they slice their beef. Every other place that serves carne asada use ground beef that's dry as sand. Their diced steak is juicy and tender. The place looks a little shady because the building is so old, but they're absolutely great. But don't let the looks fool you. I've never gotten food poisoning there, and I've definitely had food poisoning at some of the other cheap Mexican places in town. Staff is really chill, too.

One of the best if not the best Carne Asada burrito I've ever had in Arizona. This place never disappoints and I've been coming here for 20 years.A+++++
