My first time here at Zori and I had a wonderful time. My friend and I came here last Friday night around 630 PM. It wasn't too packed, but around like 830 It started to get busy because that's when they have DJ, dancers, and we was able to listen to a singer.I want to start off with the customer service, which was very exceptional. We had the pleasure of having Alberto. He was attentive the whole time. He kept checking on us to see if we needed anything, and another gentleman who would bring out the food to the patrons he was very sweet and make sure we needed , anything as well.For my food, I ordered a Caesar salad, and miso cod. It was very delicious, and the Caesar salad made me quite full because it was a good size.For my drink, I ordered this skinny Cadillac margarita that was pretty good. However, I did try one of my friends drinks which is called the " make me something with tequila," what's to me was very very good and better than my drink that I had ordered lol. so I do recommend you order that drink if you like tequila, you will not be disappointed.I also want to explain the decor, and the ambiance which was beautiful. It was very modern and clean inside and gave you like luxury style, and the restrooms were even cute and spacious. They do have street parking, but I parked ballet in the valet was $14 and for VIP $30. The parking attendant was very nice and informative. You can only park there for valet if you're eating at Zori. Overall, I am going to come back. I'm going to try more items on the menu and I'm gonna come back on the Saturday which they suggest is the day to go around 9 PM and they close late around 1 AM. -Marshay D.

came here with a reservation, sat at 8pm, and no waters on our table until 8:45! i've worked at many restaurants over the years, and not having waters on the table within ten minutes of guests arriving would've gotten me FIRED. especially considering the restaurant was only at 1/4 capacity. cocktails and food were mid, but the service was laughably awful. we waited another 25 minutes after getting our waters to put our food in and the food all came out at different times. this made dinner awkward and clearly shows that our server doesn't understand how coursing/fire times work. worst part was that we were celebrating a birthday, and prior to sitting down we arranged to have a dessert brought out for our friend. after waiting another 40 minutes after our meal for the dessert and our check, we ended up getting a manager and just canceling it. instead of bringing our check, the manager said "well, if you just wait another 30 minutes we'll bring the table a round of shots!". at this point i lost it, especially considering that the bday girl had ordered a virgin drink that night and made it clear that she's sober. we got our check, our friend didn't get her dessert, and all we got was a gift card "for next time" that we left at the table because we were so baffled at the audacity that they would ask us to come back. this restaurant clearly prioritizes cheesy gimmicks over training their servers and making sure their quality is consistent. the whole night was such a shit show from start to finish, i actually thought for a second we were being pranked. all i saw the whole evening was a bunch of servers and hosts running around, no one helping out and ensuring guests were being served in a timely manner, and a restaurant that remained at 1/4 capacity well into the night, which makes me wonder why this made doing their job so impossible for them. i give this place 6 months before it shuts down. there's no possible way a restaurant this incompetent can stay in business for much longer.

We didn't have a reservation so we were just a walk in. They were able seat us, clarifying that we would on seat at the high tops. Unfortunately we didn't stay and eat. We were left, in a HALF EMPTY restaurant, without being checked on for 25 minutes. They did NOT have many people (even though it looks like it from the restaurant because they stuff everyone towards the windows) but they were STILL slow with their service. Zori does NOT care about service, they care about the image. There were tons of waiters around as well so it was not even a staffing issue. They show videos of their restaurant (the one that you're in already) on the TV monitor. They highlight their grand opening but they do NOT have their service down at all. 100% if you choose to come here, don't come hungry. This was ridiculous to not even be served WATER. No one checked in at all. Let's not even mention their random singers in the restaurant or the fact that they record and take pictures of their guests without any permission.

I recently visited Zori Gastrobar near The Grove, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! From the atmosphere to the food, everything was on point.We went for happy hour, and wow, what a deal! The drinks were fantastic -- $8 margaritas and $7 Prosecco poured from cute mini bottles. They tasted high-quality, and you could tell they were crafted with care. As for the food, it was delicious all around. The hamachi ($14) was incredibly fresh and flavorful -- definitely a standout. The guacamole ($13) was creamy and well-seasoned, served in a generous portion perfect for sharing. We also tried a couple of sushi rolls -- the Spicy Salmon Roll and Salmon Philadelphia Roll ($12 each), both had stunning presentation and were packed with flavor. For the mains, the burger ($13) was juicy and perfectly cooked, and the ribs ($22) were tender with a yummy sauce. You can even choose 2 sides, and I highly recommend the truffle mashed potatoes and coleslaw -- they were the perfect pairing. We also had a few items from the regular menu: the ribeye ($59) was perfectly charred and packed with flavor, and the black cod ($29) was tender, served in a rich, creamy sauce. Both were definitely worth the price! The vibe at Zori Gastrobar is upscale and stylish with a spacious, modern feel, making it a perfect spot for a night out. The service was friendly and attentive, and everything was beautifully presented. Overall, Zori Gastrobar is a must-visit for flavorful food, amazing happy hour deals, and a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend checking it out!

This restaurant has been open for a month and it's already my favorite. They have live entertainment, DJ, and the music is jumping. They have a really cool bar set up and I came here for a girls night out. We did like a cool holiday dinner and I love how they have Christmas decor as well.Lamb chops $43 - with two sides and it was 10 out of 10 so much good flavor.Katetsu Roll - it was very fillingThe strawberry Mojito mocktail was absolutely delicious so much flavor Spicy pork ribs - $34 comes with two sides and it was a little too much sauce and very thick in my opinion, but other than that, the meat was very tenderFilet mignon and lobster was a beautiful presentation with his great sauce to go with itYou have to get one of the signature drinks cause they come theatrical with the presentation Valet is $20 for VIP $10 for validation (valet guys are really cool) Great service with the hostess and the waitress. They really know their stuff. They're always on point in checking on us. Hamachi crudo was delicious. Bigger portion than you normally see in DTLA

They have a great selection of creative cocktails. I got the disco drink which came in a cute disco cup, and also fire. My friend has a drink that came with a polaroid. I also ordered an eel sushi roll, which turned out delicious. Food also arrived in a reasonable time. The portions were of a good size, and I was full from one entree. It's a great vibe here, a lot of content worthy experiences. I would come again.

Went to Birthday there , the appetizers were excellent, main dishes were ok, coleslaw was bad and had a bad taste. The bronzino was not tasty. The pork ribs were good. Ask for a bread , took 20min . Waiter forgot one desert .The lava cake was good. Hope the manager will train personnel and kitchen better .

Fish was overly fishy and the potatoes tasted like box powdered potatoes that were overly salted to compensate for the poor quality. The food was terrible. The service was extremely slow. It took 10 minutes to even be greeted by a server and 17 minutes for our check. Not once offered another cocktail even though they were empty a quarter way into our meal.Definitely a terrible experience. The only "good" thing is the presentation of cocktails and the taste. Other than that- definitely not worth it.

Zoir is a gem of a restaurant that I feel no one knows about. The ambiance was beautiful, I love a restaurant with a fireplace. The food was great, I really enjoyed the hamachi. Definitely get it. Also what other resturant can you get sushi, wagyu burger, tacos and a steak!
