To celebrate my husband's birthday, we chose Tumiyaki Sukiyaki House - the all-you-can-eat Shabu Shabu. We made a reservation for Saturday lunch and got our table upon arrival. The restaurant is very cozy, and I liked their introduction board showcasing the different locations of Wagyu on the wall. We got the "American Wagyu" board on our table, which was very interesting. It's a great way to learn something while enjoying your meal. We ordered the "Diamond" package at $88 per person. The meat quality is superb! The Uni Tor Bowl, A5 Ribeye (one per person), A5 Wagyu Nigiri with Foie Gras, A5 Wagyu Brisket, and Shoulder Cut were all delicious! I also liked their beef curry. They also provide a vegetable station, drink station, and ice cream. The service was great! At the end, we joined their membership and got $20 off. Based on their prices, I think it's better for special occasions, but we will definitely visit again.

Meat quality is amaaaazing. I'm usually not a fan of "sweet" foods that are not dessert or snacks but decided to try it out when my friends picked this place to pig out. Located in the Rowland Banana Bay plaza (Yes Plaza where the hot pot place used to be), the restaurant isn't too big. Doubt they could fit a huge party so bring only your closest friends lol. Theres only 2 pricing levels-- $78 for the gold and $88 for the diamond---they're both A5 wagyu ayce with either shabu broth or sukiyaki. Basically go big or go home here. They do have a membership discount but my friend bought the ETF for the chubby cattle group a while back so he gets some sorta discount as well. Along with the regular menu, they also have a list of carpaccios and handrolls and a self serve food bar of veggies, Japanese sides including my favorite TACOWASA!!!! Yes I took the risk and ate two--pleased to say I didn't get sick. They also have a wagyu curry station similar to Momo shabu. Our group picked sukiyaki for our soup base and it was not as bad as I imagined. The sweet flavor wasn't overpowering. Meat was all very soft and tender. Didn't know wth I was eating after a while~all the meat was tender so I couldn't tell too much difference. Veggies were super fresh. Service was top notch. They were constantly swooping in to clear our plates and check on us. Overall a very good experience. Just don't come if you arn't hungry because this place will push your stomach over the edge.Parking is plentiful right outside. A couple of tea places in the plaza to hang out at after your meal.

The food here was very good and very simple. All you can eat A5 wagyu and sushi/sashimi. The wagyu was very good quality and evenly marbled throughout. The sukiyaki base was a mix of sweet and savory, but not too sweet like some sukiyaki places can be. I liked the variety of sides that were offered, especially dishes like the seaweed salad, octopus, clams, etc. the flavors were a nice contrast to the rich and savory Wagyu. We got the gold platter which was about $78/person. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of sushi - there was tuna, yellowtail, and salmon. Each cut was generous and thick, with the simple and clean flavors. They offer sashimi platter which is three pieces of salmon, tuna, and yellowtail as well as hand rolls with caviar at the tier we chose. The samurai milk tea was really good! I was surprised bc it comes out of a machine but it was delicious and I kept coming back for more. Everything was very clean and the workers were checking in on items regularly. The shabu sauce bar and minced Wagyu with rice was good. The Wagyu curry lacked flavor and was very bland. One thing I was disappointed in was the self-serve ice cream, there was strawberry, matcha, and vanilla... and coffee? The flavor was very bland and the texture was squishy with some ice particles in it. I know, you might be thinking "you're at a sukiyaki place for Wagyu, why talk about the ice cream?" I'm just saying, for the price that it costs, everything should be high quality.I was very impressed by the service. Our server was Lisa? Anissa? I couldn't hear her name well but she was very professional, polite, fast and great at explaining the menu and conversation. Chubby Group, give her a raise! She was very sweet and the girls who came by to take our plates away and check in to see if we needed more meat and sushi were wonderful. Quality of service here is superb. It's a smaller restaurant with a smaller menu than Chubby Cattle, and I honestly prefer it because Chubby Cattle is super chaotic and it shows in the way staff are rushed to turn tables which compromises the dining experience. I would give Yumiyaki a try. Again, kudos to the staff here. I was motivated to post a review because of how kind and welcoming they were.

OMGosh MUST TRY!First time eating at Yumiyaki...we ordered the Premium package cause it was an additional $10 per person and include much more different types of meats and specialty dishes. The sushi/sashimi was delicious. There were so many different options from sashimi to beef tartar and everything in between.BEEF!!.....YUMMMMM. I ate so my beef in one sitting. The quality of the beef is so high and melts in your mouth.Austin was our server and he was so attentive. He kept an eye on our table to take away all the empty plates or asking us if we wanted to place additional meet/sushi order.I'm for SURE coming back!

Had a wonderful experience to celebrate my birthday dinner yesterday and I can't wait to experience more of their partner restaurants. Very memorable hotpot experience semi locally. Food (4.5/5) - Diamond tier offered premium food experiences for my party. Price was justified instantly in that first bite of A5 wagyu ribeye. Overall quality and taste delivered - Beautiful marbling on the meats, perfect torching on the wagyu nigiri, fresh taste on the sushi/uni and handrolls, great selection of sides/veggies/sauces in the bar, perfectly sweet broth, tastiest milk tea, mouth watering wagyu curry, raw egg to dip the meat in, i could go on all day. I just was not super impressed with the wagyu and otoro tartare, the texture was great but just lacked flavor in the dishes overall rendering them a bit plain as served. Service (5/5) - Had a larger party of 6 for this smaller sized restaurant and a reservation to go with it smoothly. From the beginning to end, our server was great! Showed us the whole flow of the menu and bar and explained every dish that came out which was super helpful for my party. The first round of meats came out before he was even done taking our initial full order! Constantly checked up on, never waited too long for anything. No complaints. Ambiance (5/5) - Located in a very high traffic, very aesthetic plaza, this restaurant is definitely on the smaller, more intimate side of comfortable eating. Very modern, dark, serious look to the interior with great display of the meats, attractive setup of the tables and bar area, still reasonable to navigate despite being smaller scale. Parking can be a bit awful if you don't have a tiny car on hand.

Amazing quality meat as aways from the chubby group, I personally love sukiyaki so this was greatThey also have lots of cold appetizer options too with my favorite being the okra. I loved the sashimi, nigiri, and hand rolls which were also part of aycePretty small dining area so try to come not during peak dining hours as they can get crowded with long wait times. I came around 1-2pm on a Friday and there was no wait

Service is amazing, you're checked on even before you finish your round of orders. Not much of a wait on weekdays but may be a wait on weekends. You can book reservations on Yelp in advance. Or join the waitlist before heading over if it permits. I usually opt for Diamond Tier as it's only additional $10 from Gold Tier. A5 Ribeye (one per person) is totally worth opting for Diamond Tier. You're able to swap out a Specialty Dish for another A5 Ribeye if you don't prefer the 4 listed dishes. A5 Wagyu Tartare w. Caviar sits on a bed of chopped up avocado, perfect for those that aren't trying to have too much carbs. Uni Toro Bowl is my favorite Specialty Dish, uni is sweet and creamy paired with deep rich smashed up fatty toro tuna and wagyu tartare sitting over top a bed of sushi rice.A5 Wagyu Shoulder Cut - marbled perfectly and tender.Full Blood M9+ Chuck Roll - my favorite cut. Melts in your mouth buttery goodness. Even more marbled than shoulder cut.MASAMI Ribeye - so good as well. A5 Wagyu Nigiri are perfection. Torched perfectly, not over done at all. Smokey flavor with the buttery fatty texture over a small bed of sushi rice. I could eat these all day long. I love the one with Foie Gras much better added a small burst of deep rich fatty goodness. With Caviar added some texture when you bite into each roe.Yellowtail and Bluefin were my favorite. Yellowtail melts in your mouth. Salmon this last visit wasn't hitting the way the other times I've visited. Not sure if it was the cut of the night or if it was the chef's cutting.

Another awesome restaurant from the Chubby Group! Wife and I were excited to try Yumiyaki since we've already been to Mikiya we knew it would be pretty similar. There was a bit of a wait but not too long. First impressions, the spot is smaller than excited, but it's a nice intimate setting. We went with the Gold menu which was $78 pp. The simplified menu is actually a plus since you get to try pretty much all the items. There's a self serve station for the veggies, sauces, and wagyu and curry rice. They also have self serve Milk Teas too and ice cream. Service here was great! Our waiter constantly checked in with us and the Sushi and meat orders were delivered so quickly! You get your $$ worth here for sure! My favorite was the A5 Wagyu brisket and all the nigiri and hand rolls with the caviar were my personal favorites. Overall, I would say Yumiyaki is a great place for Shabu Shabu with high quality meats and sushi it covers the bases for a great night of dinner. Thanks Yumiyaki! We'll be back for sure!
