Came here with bunch of awesome people and we had the best time because one of us hasn't tried bossam before so we all were excited.I'm surprised that this location has ipad installed on each table, so definitely more high tech. All banchans, bossam, and hotpot are good, so they really deliver. The staff are so fast delivering stuff too. The place is spacious too so we were seated right away at big table. We came pretty early too. Plenty parking in the plaza as well.

There are a few Yuk Dar Jang branches in southern CA. The Buena Park location closed a year ago so we've been coming to this location ever since. We've never had to wait for a table at this Rowland Heights branch. You can either order using the iPad or with the waiter.Army soup (4/5). Creamy broth and not too spicy. The army soup comes in a stone pot over a grill and the dish consists of ramen, tofu, spam, sausage, pork, rice cake, and two types of mushrooms. We've tried other dishes before and they were all pretty solid. The only downside is they are understaffed with 1-2 waiters for the entire restaurant.

Yuk Dae Jang has a Rowland Heights location... yes!!! This is one of my favorite Korean food establishments. Whenever I'm craving their amazing shredded beef soup (yukdaejang), this is the first place that comes to mind... it is incredible and one of the reasons I often struggle to give up meat! The service has always been good. The ambiance is calm and I love that they are located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. I have always loved this restaurant, since I started going to their Koreatown location, which was across the street from my former office. When I found out they had a San Gabriel location, I started frequenting that one since it was closer to home and to my new office. But now, with Rowland Heights opening this location, it has become my go-to, since it's so much closer to home!

The food was really good and they were very accommodating for my party of five. The interior was clean and had good vibes that made my appetite bigger. The bossam is a pretty good value when you share.

TL;DR: Clean space, fast service, and solid Korean dishes. Bossam was the standout, with decent portions and reasonable prices. Would recommend for a casual meal!We came around 6:30 PM on a Sunday, and the restaurant was about half full.Interior:The floors and tables were clean, and the place had a modern, sleek aesthetic. Simple but welcoming.Service:It took a few minutes for a server to come by, but they were polite and helpful. Food came out impressively fast--within 10 minutes of ordering.Food:Banchan: Standard sides like fish cake, kimchi, radish, and marinated green onions & carrots. They were good, though nothing particularly memorable. Free refills were a plus.Bossam (Small): The highlight of the meal. The portion size was decent, enough for two people, and the meat was tender and flavorful.Blood Sausage Soup: The creamy, peppery broth paired well with the purple rice. The blood sausage had an interesting texture and taste--definitely worth trying if you're a fan of unique flavors.Cold Noodles: A refreshing dish with a good balance of tangy kimchi-vinegar flavor. The portion size was just right.Overall:A good experience overall with solid food and quick service. Pricing was about average for a Korean restaurant, and the portions felt fair. Definitely a spot worth revisiting if you're craving specific Korean food like bossam or something comforting like soup.

Yuk Dae Jang is a welcoming spot for hearty Korean comfort food. We visited on a Tuesday evening, and the place wasn't too busy. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself was clean and spacious--making for a very comfortable dining experience. We ordered the Brisket Yuk Gae Jang soup with glass noodles, which had a nicely balanced flavor, and the Mandu and Rice Cake in Ox Bone Broth, which was absolutely delicious and ended up being our favorite. We also tried the pork belly in special soy sauce, which was tender and flavorful. However, the real highlight for us was the banchans, especially the kimchi, bean paste, and salty shrimp paste. These side dishes were perfect complements to the mains, especially the pork belly, and were of excellent quality.Overall, Yuk Dae Jang offers great value for money and serves well-executed Korean dishes. It's definitely on our list of places we plan to return to!

Went here with my friends and ordered the bossam and the brisket soup! Definitely love this place! The bossam comes with various sides you can wrap your pork belly in and it was definitely a huge enough portion for you and your friends to share. I was able to make multiple wraps with the lettuce, bean sauce, kimchi, and the other sides that were provided with the dish. You can also ask the server for refills on the side dishes if you run out. Lastly, the brisket soup was light and definitely an enjoyable soup for the winter season! They also add a lot of brisket in there which is a plus! Definitely coming back for more in the future!

Wow! Been going to this plaza for Stater bros this past year and didn't realize this gem of a place so close by. Ordered the seafood yuk dae jang, bossam, and pork & chive mandu. The soup was super umami and tasted so good with the chewy noodles. The large bossam was enough for 4 of us, we even have had some leftovers but we were stuffed. Also the bossam here was super flavorful , way better than mister bossam. Will definitely come back! Pretty casual spot for dining in friends or family. And the service here was quick and friendly.

Pretty mid Korean food. The bossam was over $50 and didn't come with much meat. I also thought it was pretty tasteless compared to other bossam spots. Also got the bulgogi which was yummy but also overpriced

We got the large bossam and the bulgogi with clear noodles. The food was flavorful but it didn't feel worth the price. The banchan was standard , kimchi, fish cake and chive kimchi. Service was friendly. They did automatic gratuity for our party of 5
