Noodles were so good and the lady working was so nice!Try the Dumpling noodles - it's bomb!

This place is my go to when I want soup. I love the beef stock and I add so much scallion and Kimchi juice in it. The meats always tender and comes with rice and a bunch of banchan. Our order always come out super fast and it's so filling. Every time we come to LA, we have to fit a meal at Young Dong!! FYI- there's a parking lot in the back!!!!

Got the cold black soy bean noodles. It's hard to find this in the US but have seen it on YouTube. So finally got to try this. It was refreshing. Very strong soy bean taste mixed with black sesame. It's big portion. Noodle was chewy. I believe it's authentic but I have never tried it before so I wouldn't know!

We visited Young Dong Restaurant on a Friday night after struggling a bit with street parking--only to find out later they have parking in the rear (good to know for next time!). Located conveniently near the Wiltern Theater, it's a great spot for a casual pre-event meal.The ambiance is old-school and airy, with a relaxed vibe that feels welcoming. The service was friendly and impressively quick, which is always a plus. Their menu is straightforward with just 14 dishes, keeping things simple and focused.We ordered the Ox Knee Stew, which was clear and flavorful but had minimal meat. We also tried the Spicy Beef Soup with Vegetables, which was hearty but featured beef that was a bit dry and chewy. Both dishes were satisfying overall, and the accompanying kimchi added a nice kick.While the food didn't blow us away, it was solid, and the experience as a whole was enjoyable. Definitely a good spot for comforting Korean soups if you're in the Koreatown area!

Casual, local sul lung tang specialist known for their clear broth. Good solid beef flavor. Nice cuts of beef. Kimchi is fine but I liked Han Bat's kimchi more. Seating is indoor only. They have a private large parking lot. Credit cards are accepted.

This place seemed very old school with food that's more towards comfort Korean food.They had a private parking lot so that was very nice to not find parking super far away and that the place was very easy to find.I got the spicy beef noodle soup which was very simple.The soup felt like I could make it at home or get it from the store. The broth didn't have a lot of depth but there was a lot of meat.The kimchi was very fresh and complimented the dish very well. It seemed like it would fit for someone who was wanting a hearty soup to get full.

This store is known for their clear sul lung tang. It's like a cleaner version of pho and you can control how much salt you want to add. I thought it would be more like galbi tang since it was clear but to my surprise, it was very much still like a sul lung tang. Parking is a bit small but we got lucky and came when it wasn't busy.

They're very generous with their meat! Come here if you're feeling like a hot soup to warm your soul. The soup comes unseasoned with a jar of salt in your table so that you can adjust the saltiness to your preference. AND as much green onions as you want to add. Side dishes include kimchi and radish.There's a fair amount of seating here. It was pretty chill on a dinner night.

Very good for night when you Lee hungry and don't want to cook. This restaurant is known for soup in town.

Omg so good! And not busy like sun nong dan down the streeey. Been coming here sounded college days and still as good as every water broth y good mess for a cold day
